Secured singles for both NC stops. First time at either venue. Flying down Thursday. Amtrak to Charlotte on Saturday morning.

We know anyone going to NC? I gotta invade some tailgates.

Where The Creekend party going down? It'll be Kyle (TehCreekFluff), my buddy Nick and Myself. Rozz is joining us one night in Pav.

    For sure:

    WPB
    Creekend
    Riverbend

If the above shows are really solid, potentially add:

    Denver
    Columbus

Not a fan of fall shows indoors. 2012 was so bad after Louisville, I bailed on Chicago. Which ended up being a good move. Cbus 2018 was enjoyable. I just prefer outside shows overall.

Edit: I think I remember some you going to WPB previously . . . Thoughts on the crowd/venue?

The best fans are in the upper pavilion and lawn. Down low, you get a lot of rich elitists that are just there because they can afford the premium seats and leave half way into the set. Literally watched a woman read a book in the fifth row back in 2016.

Can a warehouse member please check and see if Warehouse Lawns are still available for these shows? Considering joining Warehouse just to get these lawn passes. Thanks.

2 day lawns? Those aren't available. They do have $85 reserved for N1 and lawn for N2

Looks like N1 is reserved ($85) only option and N2 is lawn, only option.

    Correct, they're warehouse instant tickets.

If I were you I'd reconsider unless you really need early entry. $35 to join warehouse plus $17.50 for shipping is a lot for minimal perks

    Interesting. Or maybe a 2009 N2 moment. Partial N1 to full N2.

Creekers! With all the excitement of the tour coming back, I decided to bring back my "Venue Stats". Which I've long argued are more important than overall tour stats or what debuted/liberated la la la.

For Walnut Creek (Raleigh) last night:

4 New Songs (Never played at Raleigh) - Walk Around The Moon, The Ocean and the Butterfly, Singing From The Windows, Do You Remember

    First since 1995 - Minarets

    First since 2002 - Grey St w/ 3rd verse

First since 2008 - Louisiana Bayou

First since 2009 - You Might Die Trying

    First since 2014 - Sweet

First since 2015 - #41, Warehouse, So Damn Lucky, Lover Lay Down, What Would You Say, Stay

3rd time #41 has opened a show there (4th if you count the electric set in 2015).

    3rd Stay set closer

1st Why I Am show closer

2nd time ever played there - Minarets, Sweet
3rd time ever played there - Hello Again, Why I Am

1st since 2009 - Where Are You Going

1st since 2010 - Lying in the Hands of God

1st since 2013 - You and Me, Shake Me Like A Monkey

1st since 2014 - Satellite, You Never Know, Space Between

1st since 2015 - Anyone Seen the Bridge, Too Much

So, when laid out like that, the fact that Charlotte's show was Big Whiskey heavy doesn't really look like a big deal anymore. Apparently they hadn't been a place they played that album a lot considering aside from Funny, it had been 5-11 years since the other 4 songs showed up in Charlotte.

This is why I go for venue year-to-year stats over stop to stop in the current year. Its gives a bit better perspective. Only 4 carry overs from 2019 which is cool too (Billies, Funny, Rooftop, So Much).

I've tried putting this stuff out there in the general set chats, but they tend to enjoy being fussy about how things look from how at shows they don't attend and doing 1/0/-1 rather than focus how DMB is doing in terms of making sure the show they played at X venue isn't the same as the year before.

Like, sure Lying in the Hands of God has been played pretty regularly the last couple tours. But, if you are only able to go to your hometown Charlotte show and aren't able to get to travel to see DMB, you haven't seen that one in 11 years.

Yea, its cool when you're at the liberation or tour debut. But its still the most badass seeing a song for the first time or first time in forever in person.

Quality work there sir. Let's also marvel at the complete lack of repeats from the night before.

I was at the Charlotte show and I felt it started strong then fizzled. Granted, I had to leave early because of my fussy 16 month old daughter, but 2/3 of a dmb show is still better than no show at all. Got to get the kid started early on her fandom, right?

I liked the way you broke down songs from year to year at a given venue. It makes the big whiskey and come tomorrow song selection somewhat more tolerable if you know you haven't seen it at a particular venue in awhile.

I was at the creek in 2014 and 2018. Great venue and great people. Hope to make it up there again before dmb hangs it up.

Just making sure I got this right. So my expired showing tickets for West Palm/DC 2020 are still valid at the gate? Ticketbastard didn't send out all new tickets?
