Totally agree with this. I think the 95 shows are much better than the 96 shows that we have with the exception of LT7.

Especially the mid to back end of 95. I think LT21 and LT5 are much better than this most recent LT33 that was just released. I very much enjoy LT33, but LT21 and LT5 are two of my very favorite shows released.

I feel the same. The mix and performances on lt5 are just perfect. Nancies, Warehouse, PM, Exodus, and that fucking awesome Jimi are all my favorite performances (which that Jimi with DRH being a top 5 performance of any DMB song)

RR95 is still awesome but lt5 just has something more to it for me.

Totally agree with all of this. DRH's solo in rhyme and reason is fucking awesome too. That Jimi is my favorite Jimi as well.

Red rocks is great but LT5 is my favorite 95' show, with LT21 not all that far behind. I prefer them both over red rocks.

Not to mention possibly the best OSW we have had released.

I hate watchtower. Ending shows with a cover blows IMO and it's been happening since day 1. I hate how I know one of a two night stand will finish with it. I always find myself thanking god when it closes N1 just so I know it won't ruin N2.

Despite the claims made in this website's "Open letter" to the band, the acoustic sets have been very diverse.

There's been 5 songs shows this tour. No repeats for the first two nights.

Third night only had two songs repeated from the first two shows.

Fourth show added 3 new songs to the acoustic set.

Fifth show added 4 new songs to the acoustic set.

At the time of this letter, the acoustic sets haven't repeated an opener or closer.

Gotta side with Hilly on this one. I'm pleased with the acoustic sets this year. The electric sets, however...

The acoustic set isn't the problem. It's the ladies and the lack of surprises in the electric set.

I've been enjoying the look of the acoustic sets so far, much better looking than the electric ones, at least for the last few shows. My problem lies with the acoustic sets happening at all. For most of the songs it doesn't really make a difference between acoustic and electric versions so the set gets broken up weirdly IMO, especially if the Lovely Ladies come on for the last 4-5 songs of the electric set. I'd prefer them to go back to 1 setters just because I feel it flows better.

This website published an open letter to the band citing lack of diversity in sets, particularly with the acoustic set.

It's just not true. As stated in another thread:

Acoustic sets are different from last year.

So far in 5 shows, they've added:

    Everyday
    Gravedigger
    So Much to Say
    Too Much
    Where Are You Going
    Song that Jane Likes
    When the World Ends
    Anyone Seen the Bridge

They're playing songs that have less than 5 acoustic plays last year:

    Funny The Way It Is
    Beach Ball
    Little Red Bird
    One Sweet World
    Save Me
    Typical Situation

And many songs that have under 10 plays last year.

Not to mention everything stated earlier in this thread.

Wouldn't put Corn Bread on the level of Last Stop or Halloween, but I like the song. Especially 07-08 versions

I'm not entirely sure. The people who scream for it definitely annoy me, and the people who say "man I hope they blow our minds and drop a last stop on us" definitely annoy the shit out of me. I guess just the song in general doesn't appeal to me.

Last Stop, particularly the build into the outro and then the outro itself, is one of the best things they do live. But that's cool if you don't like it. I'll second still being excited to see my shows this summer. That seems to be an unpopular opinion lately.

Thought this would be a good thread to make my first post in. Feel free to fire away!

-I like Squirm. When the red 12-string comes out that's what I wanna hear.
-I like LA Bayou, particularly after the lyrics are over. That outro is money.
-I like The Riff. Would prefer to hear that over any other AFTW song, easily.
-The Prelude to Grace is constantly stuck in my head and I'm ok with that.
-I'd also be ok with not hearing Granny live ever again.
-Where Are You Going is up there on my list of favorites.
-I really want to see You Might Die Trying live. 0 for 13 so far.
-Bartender is my favorite song (although that may not be 'unpopular').

Just a little background, been listening to DMB for 10-12 years, my first concert was in '07 but the majority of them have been since '12. Wouldn't consider myself a and I'm sure as shit not part of #LoVE cult but I'm the fan who's gonna get pretty tipsy and tuned up and have a good damn time at every show I attend.

I think that by and large the '04 tunes are kinda overrated. Certainly better than what came from Stand Up, and I'm pretty fond of C-E and SW occasionally, but I don't think those songs are all that exciting.

I am also not thaaat big a fan of The Last Stop. While it is likely just inside my Top 50 and I do like the song, I have always felt it is the most overrated song by the board and fan base. I prefer so many more songs that could be liberated and would be surprised to hear at my next show. That said, I still would gladly take it next because I have only heard it twice and it so rare.

    Save Me
    Typical Situation

And many songs that have under 10 plays last year.

Not to mention everything stated earlier in this thread.
    Diverse, sure. Quality, no.

    Everyday (turd)
    Gravedigger (turd)
    So Much to Say
    Too Much
    Where Are You Going (turd)
    Song that Jane Likes
    When the World Ends (turd)
    Anyone Seen the Bridge (transition)

Sums up the shows well. About half or less of a show is actually decent.
