For anyone who hasn’t ordered, I was able to sign up for some promotional texts thing on the regular (non-WH) DMB store and instantly received a 10% off code. This brought the price of the vinyl+cd down to about $77, just enough to qualify for free shipping.

I like the front of the sweatshirt but not a fan of the sleeve. Debating whether the sleeve is enough for me not to purchase it…

    Oh I get it

“Wow, this isn’t what I heard” seems like an unnecessary thing to post if no additional information will ever be put out.

I don’t think that’s the case here, though.

Yeah, insiders do love to flex their insider status. It's a power trip. The whole cryptic "bone throwing" that goes on speaks to that. They drop a clue so obscure that no one catches it then come back after the announcement to reveal that their post 5 weeks ago was a hint.

Someone did it with Cow Palace when that was revealed.

And if the insiders are more direct and delays happen or something gets shelved, they get flamed. It’s a lose-lose.

Anyways, I think this release is really great and releasing it along with a vinyl option is excellent and I hope they continue to sporadically make vinyl available for these LT series entries.

Really excited to spin this - that Bartender is really going to shine. Maybe the best of the early 2000 tour ‘tenders

That's not at all what happened here. Even though it doesn't affect anything, I'd rather know that another vinyl release is/was planned and should still be coming soon.

For the Boyd talk, I do not remember him being horrendous this show. Nothing like the 2003 screeching, but I would have to relisten to make sure. Its been a couple of years.

Maybe DMB's management should release shows where Boyd was bad too, it'll rejog the memories of people why getting rid of Boyd wasn't such a bad move afterall.

Yeah they picked the best night for sure.

The next one is a doozy though. 6 minutes into the video-

As for the comments about people not being open enough with inside information, there's been lots of times before where they plan one thing and do another. And sometimes they scrap a plan but release it later. That's why I rarely ask people in the know anymore, I don't like to get my hopes up lol

Great release, but why couldn't these jackasses have released a nice bonus disc from the other two nights? Something like:

    1. BOWA (6-24)
    2. Granny
    3. Digging a Ditch (6-23)
    4. Two Step (6-23)
    5. Tripping Billies (6-23)
    6. R&R (6-24)
    7. Say Goodbye (6-24)
    8. Ants (6-24)

They would need to avoid any bonus tracks with Boyd solos the other two nights

Yeah that too. All the Apple Music artwork has the dark themes (although they still have the wrong venue cover for LT1 )

Curious to hear what they do with Boyd on this Grey Street. He's not absolutely unlistenable, like on Nancies the next night, but he's noticeably flat.
