What part did he mess up? I can't stand Jeff's sour notes at 6:06 and 6:09. That was rough.

It seems like they had trouble transitioning in and out of Jeff's solo. The run up to it especially sounds a little "train wreck-y" I thought. Dave flubbed some lyrics, etc. Didn't notice the sax notes until you pointed them out, two notes out of a whole solo weren't the WORST thing ever I don't think.

I just think it has a really awkward ending, and it didn't sound like that when I saw it at later shows.

No need to get all bent out of shape because I said that a improv jam didn't really do it for me. By delivery I meant Dave's vocal melody, not the lyrics themselves. And I think the music (until the end w/the horns coming in) is boring because I don't really like that guitar riff. I do enjoy the part at the end w/Dave singing "never see you again" and the horns though.

I do think it's pretty cool that they put this on the bonus disc seeing as how it was something everyone has been raving about and wanted to see on it. Wish some of the performances had been changed though (different YNK, different Halloween > Billies because the transition was better at some other shows)

Finally got around to giving the bonus disc a go, I really like the improv a lot. Definitely awesome they chose that. All in all it is a very good disc, however I would agree that the version selection is a little odd. Definitely agree with the comments about You Never Know, I noticed it when immediately when I listened to it. Also I agree with poster above that said there were better Hallobillies to choose from. I saw it at VA Beach, and I became quite familiar with the tape afterwards, and the transition was much smoother there.

All in all though, great disc. Glad I preordered.

I love the little lines ending with "I want to be afraid of what I'm gonna see". It's a good set of lines that sadly remembers happy times.

I love this improv, a very touching tribute to Roi followed by a great song that always makes me think of him and smile. This improv and "Why I Am" on one track are one of the most important and special song releases since Roi passed, IMO.

the lyrics are straight from dave's heart, and the music from the band's, and it turns out to be one of the best improv jams the band has ever played, imo

your crazy. the mix is horrible. cant even hear carter that good. sounds like there is a cloud over the audio. just like live trax 22. sucks because i cant listen to it its so annoying. none of you hear that? listen to 2012 sampler then live in new york and you will hear it. usually i can fix this kind of thing but no luck. the tapes sound better than the sampler. maybe its just me. anyone have the same problem?

I didn't notice that, but did anybody notice that damn clicking? Ruined it completely for me.

yea i noticed that too. i emailed the warehouse about this problem. this isnt the first time its been mentioned on here. i dont know what they will do about it if anything.
