I’m pretty sure this is the arena right near highway 98. I always joke that Dave is going to play this arena while on the way to the beach. Now they really are haha.

I’ve always said the same. Saw Goo Goo Dolls there several years back. Not a great venue, but I’ll take it. Caught the last DeLuna Fest too. Looking forward to heading back to Pcola.

Looking where to go preshow in Pensacola and it looks like there's a brewery just down the street from the venue: Perfect Plain Brewing. That's a must.

VERY Small Market show on a Tuesday during finals week, not a great time to book a show. Couple that with the fact the Hangout Fest is a couple weeks after, most people are tapped out at that point.Also, Tallahassee and Mobile are the closest "large" cities around, heck Pensacola only has a population of just over 50K. On the other hand, i'm going and glad it won't be a full house

It’s truly a ‘warm-up’ show being indoors and I’m completely fine with that. Just grabbed a ticket today. I’m sure you’ve been there for a few tour openers being from StL. A bit worried about the crowd, but probably wouldn’t notice from the pit.

Picked up a couple pit tickets today, and at a good value! This is my first time in a pit for DMB, though I’ve been in GA for a baseball stadium show. Looks like there might be some space to breathe and hopefully a solid, interesting set! Can’t wait!

it shouldn't be. the warmup show will be at the fest tomorrow. This should be the real deal. I expect a few surprises, nothing crazy but at least 1 or 2 bust oust they haven't played in a while.

It's kind of killing me seeing all these pits available below face for Pcola but I'm not driving 8-9 hours for one show then another 3-4 for Jax. Wish there was a quick cheap flight option.

Have checked Ticketmaster daily for weeks, the Ants Ticket Exchange, two DMB ticket Facebook groups, and CashOrTrade. What am I missing? Ha.

Edit: And they just dropped floors on Ticketmaster. Got one. Talk about timing.

Yeah Jax is not selling well. I bet they haven’t sold 8,000 of the 15k seats available at Veterans. Basically the entire upper section is still available on TM and several lowers available at face too. It’s disappointing for my home city but not surprising to me at all. If it’s not country or some radio pop/rap artist, majority of people here are uninterested. Especially on a Wed. I’m grateful they’re coming for sure but it would surprise me if they come back.

Yea this is true. That and the fact that Florida has 5 shows this summer and setlists seem to be basically the same there’s no reason to hit them all

So DMB won’t be playing VA beach at all. So now Pensacola is the official start of the tour like it originally was. This is really exciting for me because this is the first time I have ever seen a tour opening show.

I’m looking forward to seeing the new stage setup for the first time.That’s when it will really hit me that I’m seeing the tour opening show.

Yeah I don’t think SITW was ever the real start of the tour. DMBs official page listed it as that, but DMBs instagram was considering FL the official start. It was going to be a really short set too. Regardless it feels more like the attentive first show without the fest.

Yep. Happy that this will be the band’s first show back in the states. Makes me think they’ll put a ton of effort into it.

Also, maybe I’m crazy but I’m not expecting this tour to have some very different sets than we saw through Summer/Fall/Euro. Not saying I’m expecting a ton of variety from show to show but I think it’ll be a new blueprint for this tour.

Just glad with Virginia canceled Dave's voice can rest up a bit. Insane amount of shows this year for them.
