There will be drops on TM, yes, but as we get closer to Labor Day Weekend, the boards here will be flooded with people selling tickets. It's by far the easiest tickets of the tour. People buy them in February or whenever, then as the time gets closer, people realize you actually have to do a fair bit of planning to get to the Gorge and they sell them off.

I’ve seen a few reserved posted on warehouse boards. As the shows get closer there will be more people unloading extras. Ticketmaster will drop tickets too.

Not sure about overcrowding, but we had a pretty horrible pit experience in 2019. People there were aggressive and somewhat hostile. Might’ve just been a different experience because we had only seen west coast shows before that one, but was not a pleasant time. West coast shows usually have relaxed pits with friendly people who are willing to share the space.

Where does the band stay when they play here? Not trying to hunt them down, just genuinely curious if they find some place close or if they have to travel far to the venue each day.

That’s what I was thinking but wasn’t sure. I assume that place would be impossible to get into then? Was looking at that as an option for next year but if that’s where they stay, I imagine it’s a no go.

Yeah, they lock down the SageCliffe Resort that is adjacent to Cave B Winery during the weekend for the band.

im looking at buying tix but WH tickets only show section and row, not seat #. i have seen the pic of all the way at the side but is there a way to know what rows are fine no matter where the seats are? TM shows quite a few obstructed view seats. Would WH sell obstructed view seats or could you assume they are decent?

I wouldn't risk buying an outside section ticket at all without knowing the seat numbers.

IMO, there are no "solid views" from those outside sections.

It's still super early for Gorge tickets. Don't panic buy. I've been to Gorge 4x and have been moderating the ticket forum for a decade. Trust me (and the other vets). There's no need to buy crap Gorge tickets in July. Much much better tickets will show up on here and on TM.

Will second this. No reason to panic buy (really ever) for Gorge. Week of the shows... maybe scoop what you can for reassurance so you don't have to worry about it but you'll find tickets in the campgrounds/lots pretty easily.

Lawns > outside seats, so don't buy 'em if you can avoid it and just fall back to lawns if need be.

Hello everyone! I haven’t had a chance to read through all of the posts but I was wondering if star parking is recommended? We would really like to get out of the show quickly but it does seem like a lot of people are already staying at the venue to camp. I would assume it’s pretty easy to get off the lot because of this. However, we don’t mind paying for the premier parking if we are advised that it is worth it. Would someone kindly share some feedback on this matter? Thank you so much!

I do Plaza Parking every year and it is definitely worth it. Plaza and Star have their own designated lot but Plaza has its own entrance to the venue. Getting out takes less than a few minutes.

Stubhub. Or you can buy at the gate. I *think* it's $90 for Plaza but I'm not sure.

Hi everyone. My group had to cancel as there has been an emergency situation requiring surgery and subsequently no traveling allowed for the point person in my group.

I would still like to go but I would need major help: a ride from Seattle on Thursday, and a ride to Spokane on Monday.

In addition, there would no be an extra camping pass and extra tickets to sell.

Where can I post about this information? I know there’s a Gorge Crew on Facebook but I’m not on Facebook. Any other options?

I'm not a lawn person - not my thing, but last year the Gorge was my first time ever doing lawn tickets. Would 100% always do lawn there. Seats there are folding metal chairs that don't stay in a row through out the show. Did seats in 2015 and again N3 last year. Did lawn the other 2 nights last year and it was great. Some of the lawn seats you can get are carved out of the side of the mountain so they are flat and have a back to them. That being said, we decided to splurge on N3 last year and bought seats the day of the show, rather than doing lawn. Seats will be available, you're not too late.

Last year we did sit in the WH lawn section where you had to get there and get a wrist band in order to sit in that section. I can't recall if there are other carved out seats lawn seats besides those.

It filled up. This area of reserved lawn is surrounded by a chain link fence and someone was at the entrance handing out wristbands and checking them every time you wanted to re-enter. Last year they would only give a wristband to the ticket holder. You couldn't get extras for your friends or others to sit with you. If they wanted to sit there they had to have their WH lawn ticket and be present. Besides making a dash for the posters, that was always another mad dash, to get the wristband and claim a spot.

Anywhere good places where people can communicate about carpooling? I am headed to the Gorge solo with a premier camping pass which is a bit silly, but solo Dave shows have been some of the best experiences I've had. Any other guys out there that are heading solo from/through Spokane and wanna split a premier camping site?

The main Gorge thread in tour central is probably the best place to team up here. Outside of here, FB groups are probably your best bet.

First timer here so sorry for the dumb questions. We were lucky enough to get Oasis camping. I read in the FAQ that Oasis camping gets access to something call the Cliff House. Is this still true? Also, what and where is the Cliff House? Are you able to watch the shows from there? Would that be better viewing than from the lawn?

Also, I think we understand that there is no in-and-out of the Oasis on N0 (Thursday). Is that enforced? Do we need to pack in our own dinner for that night?

    Thanks!
