Yeah, that sucks. I mean, this place is a restaurant right? So they're not gonna allow anyone in under 21?? Seems like a good way to miss out on profits.

i guess there are enough 21+ and that will give him more profit since we will be buying his marked up alcohol and not sipping on soda refills.

hahaha this is a fact, as a bartender im happy to reach for the mid tier and top shelves

i feel bad for those that cant make it in bc of being underage, but the restaurant will definitely not be missing out on profits and me and all my irishness is sure to do my part hahaha

got to new haven around 12:30 to check some stuff out, then drove past our hotel & westbrook lobster, ate lunch, drove past the venue, then went to sleeping giant state park to hike around and take pics.

We'll have up to two vans picking up at the same location we dropped everyone off at the venue (the VIP Entrance to the Oakdale). It is just behind the venue. This is to avoid the massive traffic jams in/out of the venue before/after the show and will speed up out shuttle service tremendously. It's just a short walk (maybe 3 minutes) around to the front of the venue. We will have a sign-up sheet tomorrow at the restaurant with varying times for the shuttle and be giving out shuttle tickets.

I had an awesome time last night! Any CTers should check this restaurant out; great food, great atmosphere, excellent staff. Mike did a great job putting this together...I was blown away when I got there.

Thanks to Johnny Scott for some excellent playing, as always. No thanks to Johnny Scott for announcing my arrival and putting me on the corner of Front & Center. Not sure I've ever been more embarrassed in my life. ; )

By the way, Mike, if you see this...I was really impressed with your staff. Everyone was helpful, really nice, and overall awesome. I do admit to being quite partial to the brunette bartender at the end of the night...but that's another discussion aside from the staff. ; )

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who showed up and who I met. You all were so kind and generous to me and my staff (apparently Katelyn, my bartender, has a fan club on here! Haha!) Great to meet dh4645, jcomey, and many others....there were sooo many of you!!! I hope you all had a great time at the pre-party as well as at the show. I know I did. I hope to meet all of you again in my DMB travels and if Dave & Tim come back to Wallyworld you can bet I'll be doing the pre-party again!
