Dave solo of “What You Are”?

I used to have a pretty good solo version of Dave doing “What You Are” - Are there any notable go-to’s for “What You Are” solo? Thanks.

I only know of a small number that exist from the Dave solo radio show circuit soon after the release of Everyday. There was one on Lost Acoustics that's pretty good.

I listen to one from the Lost Acoustics bootleg thingy, it's apparently from this radio broadcast on 3.15.01 http://dmbalmanac.com/TourShowSet.as...=33&where=2001

I found it on YouTube (the entire collection), here is the timestamp for WYA

I've got one from 3.19.2001 radio broadcast that is pretty good. PM me and I can send to you...I don't think I can attach here.

I've heard a Dave solo WYA on the Coffee House channel on Sirius for a couple years now. I wonder if that's one of these radio broadcasts?

Solo version really made me appreciate the song. The studio version always sounded like something out of an action movie to me - not in a bad way necessarily, but just another attempt at a "catchy pop-rock" song from Everyday. Rethought my former apathy toward the song after hearing him kill it solo, now one of my favs from the album (and CP concert).

Wha? That’s really cool. I’ve never seen it played on Sirius, would be cool if they would play this on the dmb station.

I was there for one of the radio shows, 03/12/01, and he played WYA. They gave us a copy of it, I'll have to see if I can find it and will upload if I do!

Considering I just heard Falling off the Roof on their Sirius station, I don’t think it would be much of a stretch for them to play the solo WYA. What the heck, I’ll tweet at Sirius and see if they can swing it!
