Started one called Lore a few weeks ago. Good, short eps about different lore/myths from around the world. Like ghosts, monsters, fucked up people, etc, not mythology per se.

I wouldn't say they are the most in-depth podcasts so I'm not always totally satisfied, but you definitely learn some cool stories. And apparently the producers of Walking Dead are turning it into a TV show...as of a podcast he recorded a while back, so who knows what's going on with it now.

It's got former speechwriters for O and they discuss a lot of the speeches and public comments and whatnot with some (lots) of critique thrown in.

It used to be called Keeping it 1600. Their episode the day after the election is a must listen. They were amongst the most staunch "Trump will never win" out there.

does anyone listen to sword and scale? I'm listening to the one about the franklin child sex ring, which is a conspiracy that goes as far as the White House with the elder Bush. I'm not really sure what to make of it, but it's certainly interesting.

I like true crime garage, but prefer last podcast on the left because they are much more hilarious/lively.

Reply All is the best podcast on the internet. The two-part season finale about the Indian scam callers was amazing. The most recent one about the mysterious phone calls was great too.

The new season of Undisclosed is pretty good, though the presentation can be a bit dry. The story is a really interesting murder mystery.

Not sure when it's coming out, but... From an Ira Glass interview:

It’s not a case. In Season 2, we tried to get away from true crime. We felt we already did that. Season 2 was about Bowe Bergdahl, a really different kind of story. We were looking at something that had news-and-issues stakes to it, but with the same narrative drive and characters to it. Season 3 takes on something huge and different with characters and narrative but very different from the first two seasons.

Came in here to say this, I loved both of those episodes.

I also liked "Mystery Show" a lot, but it had a short run (6 episodes ,maybe?) and hasn't been back. Worth a listen though.

I'm looking for a few suggestions as I'm trying to get into podcasts more. Just started listening to one called Belinda Blinked (about a guy who discovers his dad wrote a cheesy porn novel and every show they read a chapter, really funny) and I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought. Any recommendations for someone starting out? Open to anything but interested in something about history, travel, sports, interesting people.
