that was the whole point of his line "this was otis's job"..yes, "its happened again" obvi means that walkers got stuck in the swamp before, but Herschel didnt have much to do with it. Otis got them out and brought them to the barn

I think that was the biggest revelation for him in that scene. His whole idea on keeping the walkers in the barn went to shit, I think he probably knew there was a little girl there and to see it end up being Sophia, he sees he is to blame with what has been going on. They did that scene so perfectly, it was great. I need to see these episodes again, if Otis is the handler of the walkers, I can't remember if they mentioned Sophia to Otis when they met him or if they were strictly focused on Ricks son.
Anyways, I loved that barn scene, that episode was one of the best. The pilot is still my top episode but that was pretty damn good tv last night.
