Woohoo! See you all there. The venue itself is so much nicer than Jiffy now that they've made all those renovations. The lawn is great. Multiple levels of GA Lawn on the side risers. Very cool vantage points to see the show, and you can move around and check them all out. That will be my move.

Navigating parking here is kind of a pain (or at least tying to locate a tailgate). There's random little lots and garages all over the place. We'll just have to see where we can all get set up. It's not as straightforward as Jiffy Lube.

I used to live in Burke, Centreville, and Alexandria, so would have agreed with you then, but thrilled to have MPP back this year. Also has to mean a Cville weekend in December!

This is gonna be a hard ticket to get. The only concert in the DMV area.

I love this venue and can't wait for the tour. Hoping to snag pit tickets somehow...not a WH member.

Was at Marriweather in 2021 and absolutely loved it. May have to make it a two nighter Pitt/Marriwather.

I live IN Bristow, that's why it hurts so much. Tailgating scene is much different, with the mall and the garages and such. Hell of a lot easier to get in/out of though. It's just a long unnecessary trek for us.

I've never had issues scoring pit with Citi release. I've only ever put in for tickets for Bristow twice.

Went here in ‘21 and loved the venue. Much prefer this over Bristow. Parking here is a breeze because it’s essentially the mall parking lots/garages and getting back up 29 to 70 is a breeze. Skylawn is a very cool vantage point to catch the show, looking forward to it again.

Looks like it's back to Columbia! pretty bummed to be missing Bristow, but MPP is an awesome place. Matt we actually had a pretty decent set up there at Union Jacks in 21, might have to run that back.

Yeah, we had the exact same tailgate at MPP that we have at Jiffy Lube every year. And we drive right out!

What's the deal with tailgating though if you aren't at Union Jacks? Is there any dirt lot anymore? Or, just basically tailgating in the parking lots of the shops and buildings? Bonus is that getting out after the show is a breeze!

When we were there in 21 and loved it. We met friends at Union Jacks, got a bite to eat and headed back to the cars in the lot until the show. Worked out great.

I think it varies depending on where you get parked. We ended up in a garage in 2021 and waited a good 30-40 mins before even moving when trying to leave.
I miss when it was just open field all around.
If anyone has parking suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Agreed, it was chill up there, I was worried once the show started people were gonna start moving up (I was on the rail up there), but everyone kinda kept to their own space. No shenanigans up there.
Having a concessions stand up there so you don’t have to go back down the steps for drinks was great too.

Parking doesn't come w/ the tickets anymore, it's a separate charge.
