Turns out I’m an idiot and I picked up handicapped seats in sec A. Was in such a hurry didn’t even notice. Now it’s saying I can’t sell them back, even though I can see some handicap seats on the map listed under verified resell?

Hey all,

How is the Uber/Lyft situation at Deer Creek? Is it usually easy to get one after show or an hour after the show? I've never been so I just wanna know if I'll be able to get a ride after the show Friday or Saturday.

I did that years ago and was able to call and get the order cancelled.

Uber/Lyft/Rideshare is a disaster at 99% of venues. I would recommend against it.

I may have a friend that legitimately needs Ada seating if you need to move them, what night.

They are a great location but I feel bad for those in wheelchairs because they get stuck in the aisle (barely a seat missing for them) with everyone coming down to the PIT (stopping in front of them) and people climbing over them to get out of the row. Feels like the venue could do better without the additional inconvenience to people who need accessible seats with a good view.

I agree. Last time I was at deer creek was 2019 and I’m pretty sure they didn’t have any of the Ada seats down there on the aisle. Is this a new setup?

Yeah I think you have 72 hours to cancel the order. I know there is a certain timeframe they allow you to do that.

No this isnt new.... it has been that way for awhile now. Couldnt tell you how long though?

Is it just the lack of cars? That's what Im wondering since it looks like Deer Creek is in the middle of nowhere. I've never been out there, but grabbed tix for the shows.

Surge pricing and all that I am expecting. I usually wait a hour or two and then get an uber home.

I haven't had bad experiences with rideshare after shows, it's just the surge pricing that is a mess in which I wait it out an extra hour or two so prices normalize... I'm still in the zone anyways after shows. And I walk a mile or two out of dodge so the uber driver doesn't have to try to go into the mess to get me.

You can definitely do that. There are a couple hotels about a mile away that you can head toward, hundreds of people will be making the same walk. There are some gas stations and restaurants there.

Deer creek is by no means in the middle of no where anymore. It’s surrounded by housing and other development. You can take a short walk to a gas station and/restaurant and wait for an Uber

I did Uber one night last year (long story) and getting there was no problem. Getting back was a bit of an ordeal. I ended up walking down to I think a Chipotle (it was a strip center with some restaurants in it that if I'm looking at Google Maps right was at the corner of Boden Road and Campus Parkway). I was able to get one after a pretty decent wait (want to say about 40 minutes once I got to the Chipotle). It was about a 40 minute walk to the Chipotle with all the traffic.

(Also, go Cats!)

@ccpn it’s just time and often surge pricing that makes the process frustrating. If you don’t mind waiting, like you said, you’ll be fine. Or, find someone and share with them an Uber to the same spot.
