We walked from the Benefitfocus lot last year and it wasn't too bad, except for the torrential rain.

The lots themselves weren't terribly big, but it did take a little longer that I thought it would to get out.

The upgrades were finishing up last year around this time. Its a lot better than it was in a lot of ways for concerts. Ben Navarro bought the stadium and made it a point to attract top notch music to the area.

Went last year and have to come back this year because we had such a good time! Warehouse really hooked it up with great seats for N1 too!

For those staying in Charleston, there's a ferry boat that will take you to and from DI. It was a nice ride and they serve drinks! A little bit of a walk once you get to the Island, but not terrible.

I second this. The Ferry was perfect! Would do it again. And they adjusted the leave team once they knew the show was over!

Good sound and vibe in the uppers here so well worth it Bruce! I would also need to get you a beer for the New Album sanity checks!

The shuttle system works like a breeze from the lots. Busses in constant flow. Thought they did it really well.

Good amount of bars in walking distance from show to for after if you want to let traffic die down.

OK, put in for a pair in the 300's but now I'm rethinking whether I want to try to shoot for the 200's. We'll probably be late on Friday. Has anyone been able to confirm if the 300's are assigned seating or GA?

I don't want to give false information and maybe things have changed so don't hold me to it, but as far as I can remember last year, the 300's were GA and they were benches so basically first come, first served. The 100's and 200's were individual seats. I've attached a picture from last year before the show and if you scroll in past our big faces lol you can see the 300 bleachers up there in the back. We were standing in the 200s.

    Re: **Official Charleston 2023**

Different concerts do the 300 level there differently (and floor for that matter). Some have it as all reserved, and some have it as GA. Last year when going through warehouse, it called the 300 level “GA Bleachers”. This year it does not, so I’m assuming it’s reserved. Not positive though. Hopefully it’s still GA

    Re: **Official Charleston 2023**

I had upper level seats last year for night 1. There was 1 warehouse section dead center with assigned seating with a ticket price point higher than the other seating up there that was general admission. It was like $30 more a ticket and assigned seats. The problem was the staff did not enforce that section as reserved in any way. There was minor commotion leading up to the show in that specific section or two. I bet they got feedback from that and made it all assigned seating up there for this time around. It's such a small venue, and with the tennis court design there really is not a bad seat there. It's a very cool venue to see a show.

Excited about going to this venue both nights for the first time since I skipped it last year!! I have 3 people going and put in for pit night 1. I didn't know it was a 2 person limit. Now Warehouse is processing 2 tix for pit and separated the third person off to another section

    Re: **Official Charleston 2023**

I'll throw some feedback from my experience at these shows last year.

N1 I was in the pit and it was incredibly poorly managed. Folks who had warehouse tickets who weren't even in the pit were getting handed pit wristbands because the security member handing them out just thought Warehouse ticket = pit wristband. This was only for folks who had lined up to go in when doors opened. Pit is pretty spacious. Stage is elevated pretty high so railing doesn't mean much. Pretty sure Dave didn't take selfies with fan phones either night.

N2 I was in the upper deck. Views and sound are excellent but navigating your way to the bathrooms or beer stands was impossible. With it being GA not every row was filled but as it got dark people couldn't find seats so they stood on the upper deck concourse to watch the show. This made for massive congestion when trying to leave during the show. Still, and incredible value and would do it again. But just know that it is tight up there.

Wish I could go back, glad they're returning this year and hope it becomes an annual stop.

    Re: **Official Charleston 2023**

As a short person, I loved the elevated stage. The difference in stage height between this venue and others was very noticeable. I had plenty of room in the pit both nights but admittedly I don't try to push towards the front or go in early. In fact, it was, especially n2, probably the best pit experience I had of the tour.

    FOR ANY RUNNERS -

Doing the Bulldog Breakaway 5K Thursday evening near the Citadel. If anyone enjoys running and wants to meet up let me know.

This will be a nice prelude to the concerts Friday / Saturday!

I 2nd Heavy's. Going there tonight actually. IMO Best smashburger in the area. Also, Wasabi is a very short walk to the stadium and has decent dinner options. We went there for both DMB shows and Zac Brown. Good place to get a meal and chill before dancing the night away.

Do you mean credit card charges? Doubt we see confirmations until Monday (judging off last year’s timeline). I haven’t seen any charges at all though

Coming here to check on this same thing without having to wade through the ticket confirmation thread.

I have no charges or pending charges for Charleston.

I have a hard charge for a Series 3 show. And, what seems to be a pending charge made in error for something

Nothing for Charleston here either. It does sound like Series 1 has not been processed yet. If Gorge charges are coming through then we gotta be close to Series 1!

Went last year and it was awesome. For parking, we just went to the Brewery that is less than a 10 minute walk to the venue. Park for free there, great pregame. Had no traffic at all getting there or leaving.
