Wife and I also making our first trip to the gorge from Ohio!!! Been everywhere to see DMB but the gorge usually goes against a big OSU game.... but with indiana as the opener this year were in!!

as of others have said, lawn is fantastic at Gorge. Seats are a nightmare unless in front row of a section in my experience but make it work somehow.

If you did do seats at Gorge, pick aisle seats on TM on either side of 203

Very nice! I'm going to miss my Fantasy Football draft for this (will try and remotely pay attention/set up an autodraft), but this is a huge bucketlist trip for me. Go Bucks!

This will be my first trip to the Gorge at age 50, my wife and I are so looking forward to it. Hotel is booked in Quincy(no way my wife would camp), flights booked, and we requested lawn seats with Star Parking.

We always do reserved seats, any suggestions where to sit on the lawn, or areas to just stay clear of? Only 31 weeks to go!

Yeahhhhh, seats at the Gorge are the absolute worst. I can’t believe it’s 2023 and we still have the same folding metal chairs tied with zip ties since 1990. There is zero room between seats and about 10” between rows. I have had one good seats experience and it’s because I was at the end of a row. I wish they would install better seating for sure.

agreed. by the end of N3 last year half the chairs were in a pile anyway and people just stood around them. lawn is definitely the way to go

Only time I've been in the seats was (facing the stage) just to the right of the sound board tent, got a little pinched into the row ahead but it was a good spot for the most part

Getting a spot on the terraces Iin lawn is the best, IMO. The terraces make it so you don't get cramped front or back, and if you feel like having a seat during the show (or the lead up hours) you can easily lean back against the cement that delineates the terraces. Plus the sight lines are phenomenal

Not sure how i missed your comment earlier, haha- I will say one thing- Pit can be absofuckinglutely BRUTAL if its a warm day out there and you're trying to get anywhere close to the front rail. If you are on the front rail, you will get the sweet relief of shade before anyone else in the concrete, but my god, if its a warm weekend and you're out there, don't forget sunblock and prepare to get absolutely assblasted by the sun while you're waiting for the show to start/openers to play.

I made the mistake of going Pit all 3 nights in 2013 and I vowed I'd never do it again. Since then, I've generally gone Pit one night and enjoyed being able to sit down and not have to show up 6 hours early for the other two nights.

I want to request Terrace only. I don’t want Premier or Gold. I see that I can opt out of D9, but in the past I was able to select the Terrace or nothing option. I can’t figure out how to do that now. Am I doing something wrong (most likely) or is that no longer an option?

I updated all my requests to be okay with lawn. I always say I’ll just get the tickets later if I need them but I’d rather just get them all in one go. I’m hoping for at least one set of pits but we’ve never got them before so my expectations are measured.

can't opt out this year, so you're not doing anything wrong. It's no longer an option

if you ONLY want terrace, I would wait for public on sale or instants.

Still not sure if we can make the trip this year, and won't know for some time. How hard is it to get Terrace camping during general on sale or later on the boards, or get rid of gold or premier if that is what we get through WH and end up not being able to go?

theres no way to reserve these right? probably just for WH members in line when the doors open and mad dash?
