    Mornin gorge.

Any tips on getting Oasis? I think the CITI presale is my best option. I値l of course do Premier bud, but Oasis sounds kinda nice.

I noticed that. Seems way higher than past years and as a Canadian that will be over $400 for a premier ticket.

The best way on getting Oasis is to have your account info and payment ready to go as soon as presale starts, go right to the camping options, then forget Oasis and do Premier.

seriously, what the hell is up with the price gouging these days. Do they want all festivals and events to be populated by exclusively yuppy upper middle class types?

the key here then is to link up with another group that's going! Large sites are always so badass in premier - nothing like seeing like a dozen people all rocking the same camp site and community tent area!

I don't think I have that many more Gorge weekends in me.... Just way too many other places in the world I want to see and the amount of time off required (can't work remotely like we can other tour stops). I'm in if Austin is in.

Definitely a consideration - I never camped when I went- have stayed in Wenatchee. Cumbersome travel every night but it worked out.

Newbie here, attempting my first Gorge trip this year. Compromising with the Wife...going to spend Thursday & Friday in Seattle, go to N2 & N3, head home on Monday. Flights/Hotels booked already, now I just need to land tickets.

I requested pavilion, but if we strike out, how is the lawn at Gorge? Is the pavilion worth the extra cash?

If you don't get pit, I don't think reserved seating (there's no real 'pavilion') is worth it - they're all like folding chair-esque, super tight - and I think the sound is better on the lawn. I did both last time I went - I don't think i'd do reserve again - and usually I wouldn't think / say that - most venues I think reserved is worth the extra cash.

lawn is amazing, and I don't think pavilion is worth more money.

I'm pretty much in this boat - th eonly time I sit lawn anywhere else is when there's a big group going and I defer so I can spend time with friends. But I flat out PREFER gorge lawn to being down in the ravine in front of the stage.
