WANTED TO BUY: Taylor W65 Jumbo Walnut 12-String

This may be a long shot, but I'm looking for a Taylor W65 jumbo 12-string like Dave played in the 2000s---no cutatway, Cindy inlays, etc.

If you have one you'd consider parting with, or know of someone who I could try to persuade to sell one, please let me know.

If you buy this will you just play Last Stop's outro for three weeks straight no sleep?

Honestly, I'll just be playing JTR over and over again until my hands go completely numb.

Why is my (questionable) memory telling me that he had a different 12 string for his other songs and the W65 was solely for Last Stop.... I need to dig further.

Either way - yep I'd do the same thing. Fantastic guitar

I don’t know if he still uses it for anything since getting the Rockbridge guitars. The W65s (he had 2) were the main 12-strings from the LWS onward until the mid-2010s I think.

I have a 2000 w65 (the link above is not a w65). it's a beautiful guitar. when he switched to rockbridge, it was kept as the 12 string for only the last stop and retired from regular play after 2016 summer tour (but i could be wrong). i wouldn't be surprised if it's still in the rig as a backup to a backup, but it is a superior instrument to the rockbridge 12 strings IMO.

good luck in your search, OP. mine is not for sale but i hope you find one.

the w65 was his 12 string for every 12-string song up until 2014 summer tour, i believe, and last stop was the only song that it was used on until end of 2016, mostly because, if i recall correctly, he played Last stop a half step down on the 12 string, so probably kept it in the rig to save from tuning the other 12-string rockbridge
