Anybody have an extra WH stub from last night? We bought last minute and were told they would be but they were not. Wasn’t going to haggle since they were $80 total for the pair, but would like one for the collection.

Really good set, security at this place really needs to lighten up though. The second people got up to dance they had security in their face.

After the Nashville set I wasn't sure but the show was 100% worth the drive from Ohio. Hoping they keep it going tonight!

Great show, great time. My first time seeing the band since Buddy Strong came on board. Love that guy, he's fantastic. He seems to take so much joy in what he does, a lot like Carter in that sense.

I do miss Boyd...or at least his parts. I'm not trying to rehash an old argument, I accept what he did and the consequences, and I know people had complaints about him even before that became public. But I've been a DMB fan since the mid-90s and he was a big reason why it was so unique to me at the time. With all the classics they played last night I found myself mentally playing his parts in my head. But that's life.

I was at the Alpine Valley 2008 show that became Live Trax 15. They blew the doors off that night. This might be the best one I've seen since then.

Holy smokes was not expecting to see a set of this quality on a tuesday in Des Moines (No offense Iowa folk).

No "Gems" thrown but an unquestionably solid set from start to finish and even the two "Clunkers" (You and me and sister) were both done exceptionally well.

Dave looked to be having a blast throughout and all band members were on point. His voice was maybe the strongest ive heard it in 5+ years, IMO.

Buddy using the Violin effect on the keys was Stellar. I support this. The stone was made tonight because of this.

Ditto to security needing to pull the stick out of the collective arse....I was turned away with a small backpack at the gate (Venue bag policy stated bags under 13x15x6 are permitted) for the first time in over 100+ shows at various venues across the USA. Also, was nearly impossible to blaze up with a venue staffer at each end of my aged and very quiet aisle.....Lighten up guys, please.

    (I blazed anyways)

Super jealous of the set you guys scored last night. Lifted my spirits a bit to see those stellar tunes pop up after attending the Canes Bruins game last night. Nashville show desperately needed at least one surprise on Saturday.

Not seeing them in so long probably played a part in how much fun I had but last night's show was ridiculously good. Was not expecting my hometown to get much setlist wise overall including so many tour debuts. First time in even longer that I'm going to be looking for the recording.

Here's how I saw the Des Moines set. I was in row 38 at my 17th DMB show.

1 Louisiana Bayou- not a great song within the context of the DMB catalog, but Buddy played a great solo
2 Big Eyed Fish- a solid song that I'll always welcome.
3 Bartender- a great song that I'll always welcome. Jeff's solo was excellent.
4 So Right- Love it. Jeff, again, was wonderful.
5 Do You Remember- A weaker song within the context of the DMB catalog, but it works. Fun, easy-going. Paul Simon-esque.
6 So Much to Say- Who doesn't like this song? Please says ASTB is coming...
7 Anyone Seen the Bridge- It does come! Love it. Always. Carter, Fonz, Rashawn, Jeff. Killer.
8 Too Much- song of the night up until this point. But there was more to come...
9 Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin)- I am admittedly not a fan of this song. But it was okay in this set because of what came before and after...
10 Crush- the song I most wanted to hear at the show. Rashawn and Tim played great solos.
11 The Stone- Jeff and Carter were excellent. Wonderful song and performances.
12 Crash into Me- like SMTS: who doesn't like this?
13 Kill the Preacher -> Why I Am- always welcomed at any show. The band clearly loves playing it, and I love hearing it.
14 Recently- a highlight of the night. The solos were great, the "everyone play and celebrate simultaneously" section was awesome.
15 Funny the Way It Is- this song is underrated. There, I said it.
16 Typical Situation- Song of the night. "Calypso" jam was sensational. Jeff and Rashawn were incredible. The transition back into the theme was seamless. Gold.
17 You & Me- I don't really like the song, but the band played it well.
18 Everyday- This is not the same as the Tinsley-era performances of the song; it was much better. Buddy was sensational. This song sounds GREAT with him.
19 PNP-> Rapunzel- a highlight of the evening. Rashawn and Jeff were wonderful. Carter, too.
20 Sister- a weaker song overall, but as a quiet song in the E1, it's okay.
21 All Along the Watchtower- sounded great, and the Stairway interpolation from Dave, Buddy, and Rashawn kicked ass. Loved it as a show closer.

So.......Do we have LiveTrax POTENTIAL here?

No guest spot, middle of nowhere venue doesnt bode in its favor but JFC that set!

We need a good release of Watchtower w/ Stairway....

Solid review! Also, I doubt a live trax, but that'd be awesome. Just release it and call it Tuesday In Iowa.

This is from the setlist game/chat thread.

I got some videos from my spot in the suite, which was nice as I was able to put my camera down on a ledge.

Here is most of The Stone - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyzRlUdgebw

And part of Crush - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vl_KAQjQpGc
