    It was ash in E5 when Dany was raining fire. It was snow in E6 when Jon SNOW put out that fire.

    I'm going with obvious symbolism from D&D. And it was a city on fire, not a fucking volcano. Ash isn't gonna keep coming down when the fires are out.
