My go-to, top 3, has been:


X-Men: The Animated Series
The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes
Spider-Man: The Animated Series


Both the 90's X-Men and Spidey cartoons suffer a bit from limits on what could be shown to the type of audience it was targeted to, but they did some seriously cool arcs straight from the comics. In the case of X-Men that animation style is still my favorite.

That strange episode was great. The what if comic series was very dark and very twilight zone themed, so im glad they are going that route. If I remember correctly most didn't have happy endings and they were dark. This really makes me want to reread the set I have in the attic, it's been well over twenty years.

Man that episode was awesome. Pretty gruesome for a Marvel/Disney cartoon. I mean Captain America was a zombie and got cut in half. That final shot of Thanos was so menacing. Great episode. Great show.

It was like a great Walking Dead comic coming to life. If they ever took another stab at that show, it has to be in an animated format.

Wasp going inside zombies and blowing them up totally reminded me of the joke about Ant Man and Thanos.

My wife and her sibling watched that episode and said it was complete garbage. I've been hearing that it's the worst of the bunch, but I wouldn't say I've been hearing about it as harshly as my wife puts it.

I MIGHT flip 2 and 3 but I’m not sure. Overall this is probably my ranking.

I’ve liked all the episodes. I think starting with Captain Carter was the right choice. It seemed like the easiest episode to explain the concept to casual audiences. Overall it was a safe story. Now we’re taking big swings with Strange and Zombies. I can’t imagine where the rest of this season will take us.

I think it ends there. Like, we're supposed to be left with the feeling that everyone is zombies in Wakanda, including zombie Thanos, and there is no hope for a cure. The heroes were flying to their doom.

And they’re bringing the Mind Stone to Thanos, meaning the Snap is going to happen in this timeline, as well.
