Summerfest.com has basically blocked their website for a "major announcement" on Wednesday, March 14th @ noon. Eh, seems like an odd fit but maybe this is the start of a rumor for DMB Caravan to show up in Milwaukee

The Midwest show slated for 7/8, 7/9, & 7/10 coincides with the last three days of Summerfest. Great place to see bands but the line ups have really gone down hill for the last several years. DMB Caravan would certainly be a major announcement for them!

Doesn't make sense...you mean Summerfest wouldn't happen, and DMB's Caravan would?

I am going to guess this is going to get locked up soon. Either way, DMB at Summerfest would be amazing. Summerfest is always a blast.

There are plenty of stages at Summerfest to go around. Been going there since the 70's. Like I said I don't think its a great fit but find it odd that they (Summerfest) would make such a fuss except for the fact DMB anywhere else on that weekend will kill their attendance.

I'm sure they are just announcing one of their headliners which will fall into the category of classic rock (Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, etc.)

Summerfest isn't smart enough to get DMB, not the caravan, just in general. Summerfest often pats itself on the back for being the world's biggest music festival but hasn't booked the top touring act of the past decade (DMB), while having Katy Perry as a headliner this year. wtf?

It's been a while, but they have played Summerfest before. I believe the last time was on 6/28/99, the day after Alpine weekend. I remember buying 8 lawn tickets for around $100.00 total!

Summerfest already has headliners for July 8 and 10 at the Marcus.
