Have all been played regularly so far. That's pretty cool.
I'll agree with that. I'm a bit disappointed that the acoustic sets are only eight songs, but I should be happy that at least we get these songs out of them

Completely agree about the length of the set. I wish it was 10-12 acoustic and 12-14 electric.

Yep. I'm afraid I'm gonna get it at least 2 of my 4 shows in the next two weekends.

^^It's probably in the bottom 5 of DMB songs. It wouldn't be half bad if they just did it instrumental, but the lyrics are a fucking disgrace.

I can't imagine my two show run this year ending with "fuck me like donkey"

The album version is good. It translates terribly live. And it's the farthest thing I can think of as a set or encore closer.

This tour so far is going down as one of the worst in history. The repetitive acoustic sets are killing the electric set. Period. Great idea, but so far it is producing lackluster sets. Hopefully they pick it up!

Thanks for this....of course the shows are fun if you're there but really hope they try to make these truly "Special" evenings by having more of a progression throughout this tour.....so far it's been very safe show to show.....

Listening to Bartender from Bangor. Dave's vocals are stellar, one of the better Dave & Tim versions I've heard.

It depends what you go to a show for. If you want to be shocked and surprised, then I totally agree, they are repetitive and predictable. If, however, you only go to a show or two a summer and want to see great, classic DMB songs played at that particular show, then they really are pretty good. They guarantee a high chance of catching some combo of Billies, WWYS, Two Step, Recently, Ants, and Bartender at your show. Plus an old rarity or two (PFWYG, IBYU and Minarets). I haven't been reading every post, but it seems like most people in the setlist chat consistently rate the accoustic set between +5 and +7 most nights, despite the repetition. That's how solid the collection of predictable songs being repeated every night is.

Is he still singing the "Donkey" line? I left SPAC the minute the song started playing, so I didnt really pay attention as we were walking out.

I agree. I have been to 6 shows this Summer, so that is where my frustration is coming from.

Its a shame that the only variety coming in the acoustic sets this year have been covers, and as much as I enjoyed Slip Slidin' Away, I would prefer to have more variety in DMB songs. There are alot more songs that would translate to acoustic than just the 12 or soo theyve been rotating.

Yeah, I hear you. I'd be frustrated too if that were me. People on here like to say "I love [insert song]. I could hear it at every show I go to and be happy." Realistically though, I don't think that's true.

For people who spend $1000's traveling around seeing multiple shows. I had to convince myself to go to more than one this year would see 2-4 more if sets weren't showing such a repetitive trend.

When has the band not played somewhat repetitive setlists? Every year they have a core group of songs they stick to. People going to multiple shows should know that.

Sorry but if you go to 1-2 a summer this tour is awesome. I browse setlist (browse...not analyze to death) and last night was prob my fav show out of 15 due to the songs that were played. Don't care if some were played 1,2,4 20 nights ago.
