Late Night TV

What's your take on the current state of Late Night?

I think James Corden is running away with it.

The show tune battle with NPH tonight was so awesome.

and his carpool karaoke is always great. i really like his interviews too.

i just don't have anything really good to say about anyone else, except Fallon. but it's a heavy, heavy drop off after him.

i didn't even know conan was still on...

colbert is a joke though. he just doesn't care anymore. although, it might be he's half playing his character and half not. seems really off.

Conan is still the best, doing more and more remotes now, his show might go weekly or something? idk

Colbert isn't as good as he was on the Report but he's doing all right and his band and guest musicians are real good

don't care for Fallon/Corden viral vid singalong games stuff, not even when they have good celebs, just no appeal there for me

Corden is annoying and not funny

I like my late night to be mean. Old school Letterman, Kimmel is probably my favorite now.

I usually forget Conan still has a show but I did love Ferguson when he was on

Conan is the best since Dave passed his prime. I rarely watch his show, but I still watch clips on his website on my lunch hour. I never watch him, but I think Kimmel does a good job. Colbert is not as good as he was on the Report.

Fallon is the only one that sucks.

Conan has some great segments. His video game reviews are amazing.

I really love Fallon's banter with Higgins. Higgins' mind is sharp as a tack.

Enjoy James Corden's singing performances, in almost all forms.

Colbert makes me sad, because he was my favorite on the Report. He still is your go-to for at least drawing the most attention to political hegemony.

Kimmel I only catch when he has a good segment, but I don't mind him at all.

All in all, I like Late Night now a lot better than when Leno and Letterman were hanging on and hanging on.

of the ones we've got still, Conan and Colbert usually satisfy me, for slightly different reasons.

Really? Wow, wonder since when. For a while he's was being crushed.

Some little birds told me that the reason he did that election night special on Showtime(?) was because they were thinking of moving him there if his show didn't start doing better.

Wonder if Colbert is up a lot, or Fallon is down a lot, or a mixture.

yeah he's gone back to a sharper satirical form like we used to see on the Report and people are upset with Trump so it's resonating

Colbert was incredible on CC. Stewart was always better but Colbert delivered classic stuff.

I don't watch him anymore which sucks.
