I'm still taking everything in. Decent trailer. Appears to show most of the main cast. It also leaves questions for me that were brought up during filming. Are or were Bond and Madeleine married?

Also nice to see not too much given away. Half the trailer is things I've seen posted by people on Twitter.


Now actually hearing some of the lines spoken and secrets. I make a prediction that Safin (Malek) has made a clone of Madeleine and she knows of it. She may not want to say anything because she's realized it wasn't for good. The quick shot of someone swimming up beneath the ice towards Safin could very well be the child that was casted to look exactly like Madeleine.

Interesting theory. I just don't want yet another tie to Bond's past re: MS or Safin for that matter. Something bigger from her past that's not tied to James...I'm on board with.

The only other theory people have is there's going to be a flashback sequence. They say the little girl is a young Madeleine. There was a scene filmed really early on in Norway of a masked man chasing a little girl on ice. The masked man looked exactly like what was shown in the teaser trailer for the trailer. When it was filmed, it was Rami Malek stunt double behind the mask. I find it hard to believe that Safin is playing an older version of the actor playing him. Lea Seydoux is 34 years old. Rami Malek is 38 years old. I guess it's possible the little girl being chased is 10 to 14 years old, and the guy chasing her is 14 to 18 years old. But I think its unlikely. The casting call for the girl specifically asked for a strong resemblance to Lea Seydoux. That means two things to me, it's a young Madeline or a clone of Madeline. If is supposed to be James and Madelines daughter, I don't think they would of been as strict with the casting call. Just my opinion though.

That was brought up on the Bond site. I think the UK release date is April 2nd for the U.K. Not sure why it says it's only 1m 58s in length. A person mentioned the shorter trailer could be shown in theaters right now and that's the 1m 58s trailer. I guess I'll have to poke around for more info.

Yeah - interesting pick. better than Sam Smith. I didn't care for that song after one of the best of all time in Skyfall.

Haven't seen any chatter about that so not sure. As mentioned here and on the Bond message board, the date said 2/4/20. But could be 4/2/20 which I think is the release date in the U.K., with a 4/20/20 release date in the U.S. The talk now is how long the movie will be. Speculation is the movie could be up to three hours long. The other talk is comparing the similarities between this movie and Dr. No.

Yeah I’ve been seeing 2:58 referenced. That’d be crazy. The Safin footage in the super bowl spot is very dr no inspired.
