    Really. I disagree. I mean heaven forbid the guy close his eyes or move his hands or get into it a little bit. At the end of the day everyone copies someone somehow. If this dude can change the pop cookie cutter of idol and maybe do a dave tune or two then let him. Hell maybe it would change some of the music industries mind in what they think music really is and stuff.

    in his solo performance last night he did the DAVE LEG dance for 1 second while he was up there playing guitar. NOBODY does that except Dave. phillip did not cite his sources. i am calling a lawyer.

    I got to thinking about that guy. His moves are so similar its eerie. I mean it doesnt look like some Cover Band guy doing some corny knock off moves. The subtle nuiances like how he holds the guitar and pulling away from the mike at the end w/ that little scat or the facial ticks. I dont know, but it seems like it is natural to him. I am thinking he is a product of a Groupie 20 years ago. I'm not sure of his age, but it wouldnt surpise me. Sure would like to see him try a song with a falsetto in it like some devil or rye whiskey.

    I don't see how you can make this opening statement after watching the recent video of this cat. It's eerily similar and quite remarkable.

    Why do people like this guy go on American Idol? You can tell he has actual talent and should be good enough to get recognized on his own. If he does well, American Idol will only market the hell out of him and try to turn him into something he's not - a pop star.
