Ongoing situation in Toronto. A van has hit 10 people. 2 confirmed casualties, 4 more are v.s.a. Unknown at this time if terror related or not.


The hit and runs did continue for 'many blocks' and the vehicle fled the scene so I'm inclined to think this was a purposeful, terror related incident as opposed to someone having a heart attack and losing control.

It's definitely a deflection, I agree there, but it's also still true. Laws come from the gov't. The gov't, however local, gave the kid his gun back via his dad. So jeepkid can be both deflecting and correct at the same time.

Might help. But I'm not sure if the funding is there. Might be something that gets talked about and then falls off once people move on in the next 72 hours or so.

Well somehow, probably due to the frequency, these things seem to not shake us anymore. We accept them as part of life. Show our temporary sadness, and then let them fade extremely fast. 8-10 reported so far. Just 3 months after 17 died.

And nothing is going to happen. No legislation. No detectors. No age limits. Nothing. And then it will happen again in a few months, and we'll go through all of this again.
