I've said many times that I really really hope that the guy takes us in a good direction and does a good job as president but 11-days in and just more of the same from him it just doesn't seem likely. I hope he proves me wrong.

This is the type of thing he needs to be above at this point. Do not get yourself involved. It should have been a non story. The cast of a social commentary play had some social commentary. OMG!

Just going to be fun watching the same people who criticized Republicans (ie:called them racist) for fighting Obama on everything say it's now their patriotic duty to fight Trump/Pence on everything.

Also can't wait to see how they react when Trump inevitably starts using his "pen and phone" to unconstitutionally enact laws/regulations. They haven't cared the last 8 years.

Was that actually a thing (calling them racist for it)? I know most people didn't like Republicans obstructing everything for the sake of obstruction. I don't think Democrats should do the same, and just continue an endless cycle.

But from what I've read Democrats are all about Trump's infrastructure plan. Mitch McConnell has already said no to it for whatever reason. Given that Trump's ideologies don't fall within a specific party, I'm not sure you'll find congress on board with everything he wants. I wouldn't just blame Democrats.
