I saw a few tickets in Sec 3 Row Z that I jumped all over on Sunday night. I was surprised to see them, looked like a Random drop as TheLastStop123 suggests.

Decided to pull the trigger after D&T Charleston. Was just going to buy lawn, but who can pass up lowers?

reminder that before the show you should head to Pharr Mill Brewing. it's about 10 minutes from the venue, and the opposite direction of traffic!

I'd like to get a good Ants tailgating party going on here, but I honestly haven't been to this venue in so long I can't remember what the rules are. Anyone help me out?

If anyone is interested in caravaning in together, we can start planning food, drink, and activities for the lot.

I've never been to this venue either but it looks like they must be pretty tailgate friendly as they are selling "Shaded Tailgate Spots" as a VIP Upgrade on Livenation.

My wife and I are staying downtown and plan to the the lightrail and/or uber to the show - would love to meet up. Since we're outside of our normal summer stops, this is the first show in a long time that we won't know anyone else.

just a heads up with regards to the light rail, it’s about a 30-40 minute ride from uptown to the last stop (unc charlotte). from there, it’s still a 10 minute uber to the venue.

taking an uber from your hotel in uptown to the venue is only a 20 or so minute trip, so you’re probably better off doing that.

My biggest concern is getting an Uber after the show...that can always be a complete cluster. Any tips on walking to the main road or that shopping center near by to make it easier?

30 minutes on the dot from 7th street station (last in uptown) to JW Clay/University city stop, and given the state of traffic in charlotte nowadays there's precisely 0.0 chance you're making a trip from uptown to the pavilion in less than 45 minutes in an uber, unless you decide to start tailgating at 6 am

i think in 2017 i’d left around 4:30 in my uber to get to the lots for 5 from southend, it wasn’t too bad. 20 minutes was probably not generous enough of an estimate. i would always hop out at the QT though and walk up pavilion road, for both mine and the drivers sake.

in the past when i’ve ubered out, i typically will head to the QT/movie theatre lot, which is better than waiting in the lot line for uber/lyft. but it’s probably going to be pretty expensive with surge pricing back into uptown.

depending on how much you or your wife plan to drink, it may be a better experience to just take the rental.

Not that we'll be wasted, but it's the only show we're going to all year, don't want to have to worry about our consumption levels. Maybe we'll walk down the movie theater and uber to the train station or back downtown depending on surge level.

I really wish that Alpha Omega Grill/Pizzeria was open later to walk there and grab a post show meal while traffic cleared out.

Will be setting up at the edge of the F lot against the tree line. Look for the Ant flag! Come by and visit. All are welcome.
