the last dave and tim show i can find record of in charlottesville was 94, i really think this is gonna be a tough ticket, hopefully i'm wrong as i've already recruited many a friend to meet me there

I don't think it will be too tough. (There is only about a month to plan for people needing to take off work. Most people on the east coast are going to NYC the next week and might not be able to swing both...but UVA is coming back that weekend so that would boost sales I would think)
I am sure people will get denied, but not many.

DAR last year only held a few hundred more than this venue and MOST people (including myself) got tickets fairly easy.

Are people thinking that VIP request will be easier to pull than the best available for regular tickets or will there be much difference if any? I have never done VIP before but definitely thinking it would be worth it for this show. Does anybody have experience with VIP getting approved/denied and do VIP go on sale to public or just through warehouse? I didnt see anything on the public sale ticket sit about VIP

Put in for best available. Place is so small I don't care where I'm at. I don't think it's going to be as hard as others do to get tickets, but we'll see.

just put in a request for one VIP ticket...I couldn't make any of the caravans...so that's my justification for spending so much!

I'll be going solo though if I'm able to get a ticket.

It's the Warren Haynes Band and they are playing at the Jefferson Theater. The Jefferson and the nTelos Pavilion are both on the Downtown Mall (the pavilion is at one end).

I've pretty much accepted the fact that if I get confirmed at all I'll probably end up with lawn seats. Ever since they starting seating by tiers (i.e. since the Beacon) us old fogies have gotten fucked.

I don't remember what site I saw it on but I read venue opens at 6 .. show starts at 7:30.

The tickets for the WHB show at Jefferson say that show starts at 9pm. Does that mean D&T is only from 7:30-9? Also, anyone find any hotel openings for that weekend, everything I have checked into seems to be booked.

talked to the people at the cville pavillion again today. 2 ticket limit per person on friday at 10am. the guy assured me that their servers are ready for the crush of people that will be online at that time, we'll see.......lol

I'd guess 8:00pm. If it was 7:00, one hour isn't enough time to have everyone get through the gates, I don't think. They usually give at least two hours of buffer time between gate opening and show start.

My friend and I managed to snag one at that Budget Inn on UVA's campus. About a 30 minute walk from the downtown mall, but that's all right. I don't anticipate any problems making that walk. Cville isn't exactly large enough to get lost or dangerous enough to get shanked in an alley.

Pending charge of ~$170 on my debit card!!!!! Sounds like good news...and thank goodness cause I really didn't wanna drop 300 bucks on this show. Upper reserved is perfect...anyone that's ever seen a seated show at this venue will tell you there are really no bad seats anywhere.
