Welcome to Howard County, Maryland. Howard County cops are the worst. I live in Catonsville, the town over, and growing up during highschool it was well known that these cops were the biggest douches on the planet.

They were going to have a fucking field day before that day even began. "Oh yeah, Phish is coming... bunch of hippies whacked out on drugs going psycho and getting out of control violent on the LSD and Marijuana... let's get 'em for coming into the third richest county in America with their nonsense"

Merriweather is not my venue of choice, despite it being 10-15 minutes from my house. I'm just going this year because it's so convenient and I don't have funds to travel. I won't be drinking in the lots before, since I'm still 20. It's just not worth the risk with those asshats.

On a music note- Been on a seriously "Lizards" kick lately

The second set of that show isn't too bad. I just skipped over lizards, been listening to it a lot lately as well. listening some of 1995.12.8 now

3.01.03 is an amazing show. the run from Piper through Wading is practically perfection.

Yeah, not one of my faves. First time Roses, but not very tight.
Dirt sounds off as well.
BBFCFM is probably my least favorite song from the boys.
Highlights: PYITE, DWD, Maze, and standard Waste in encore.
I DL'd it because it was a SBD from 97, but I don't think it will be taking up space on my laptop very long.

I've always enjoyed the first set a lot. I dunno. Its been a while since I listened to it but for a live Dirt I thought it sounded standard. Also ghost->dwd->johnny b good

I love ghosts from 1997.

Dunno - but it looks like Suzy made the cut - which is awesome. One of the best songs of the weekend. They brought the backing vocals/horns out that were with them for the Exile set. For me - just getting to see that one song again will be worth the price of admission.

I was very pumped to see Suzy and Shine a Light in the previews, and the acoustic Wilson as well. All 3 of those will be great for sure.

How in demand do you think tickets will be this year? I know places like Alpine sold out quickly last year and I'm not sure I'll be there with my laptop first minute they go on sale.

^ Depends on the venue of course, with areas like the NE and Midwest probably faring better chances because of the quantity of venues. I know I'll be glued to my computer that morning because I'm trying to hit Atlanta

as far as concerts, its more merriweather's policy, they don't even allow alcohol in the lots i dont think. they did have a field day with phish though, it was pretty ridiculous.

i'm sure theyll fill all of their quotas the two days phish is around.

and take it easy on howard county, the cops were never that bad
