To be fair to Gocubs, since both of you have watched basketball, Bulls much better than Celtics. But your grandfather has seen more championships than Gocubs grandad, so there's that.

Oh, I do think its pathetic that Bulls fans think they have a winning franchise, when basically they had an awesome decade because Portland was dumb enough to draft Sam Bowie. In the same notion, its pathetic how Celtics fans brag about titles that were won before they were born. The last 25 years of the NBA, are the Celtics even a top 5 franchise?

Why does NBA.com have the Lakers as winners of 16 championships?

Do you understand what a sports franchise is? Hint, it's not a city.

How many franchises did Elgin Baylor play for - with Ricky thinking, Elgin Baylor played for 2.

I'm not going to take part in your sample sizing. I really never brag about rings that were won 40 years ago. They do however contribute to the celtics being the best franchise in the game. That is pretty much the only time I mention them.

To be fair, the only sample size the Celtics could surpass the Lakers is 50+ years.
