Where did the band stay last year? Not that it matters, but I remember someone posted they talked to them about JTR in an elevator...how good it sounded at SPAC. Can we nudge in some more similar requests?

as if anything a fan said would have made Dave add a tune to a set...to that I say HA!

Not to be a downer but that info can’t and shouldn’t be discussed in here.

However if you see Dave walking the streets, tell him The Stone would be great.

That was me and stay there every year, so will hope for another chance encounter. Will probably go with Break For It or If I had It All, this time.

They have good wine selections, they make awesome drinks, and they are good for an appetizer or two. I don't have dinner there but the bar area is really nice.

On top of that their staff and service is top notch. I got into town last March for a little weekend getaway and arrived in Saratoga at 9:55pm. I called them to see if they could put something together for us since their kitchen closed at 10. They had a huge charcuterie board waiting for us and charged us only for drinks as a "thank you" for coming directly there from out of town.

Nothing but good thinks to say about that place. Maybe they just don't don't like you Brad

I’ve never been there just for drinks. Dinner one time cause I had a gift card. Felt stuffy.

I've always enjoyed the atmosphere - but never had dinner. Based off the apps i would imagine the food is decent but i would never choose to go there before 15/Osteria

Not a downer. It was jokingly about someone dropping suggestions on the band...ideally good ones. So many songs that I haven't seen or seen band versions of.

Heck, maybe someone could go off on how lame covers are when the band's material is so awesome???

Henry street opened up Flatbread Social where the Merry Monk is. Solid but not amazing pizza.

Solevo is a swanky Italian place around the corner from Danny. Good but no Danny.

There’s gonna be a new brewery and coffee house that should be open by the time spac rolls around called Walt Whitman. It’s in the old Saratogian building.

New Cantina is open. Forget if they had opened when spac was last year. Beautiful spot.

The Mercantile is a new place. Decent brunch.

New Mexican place just opened up above Sinclair. Haven’t been there yet.

Ravenous is good. Obviously you have to be in the mood for crepes but they are very solid and have been around for atleast 10+ years. Very small place.

You know what Saratoga needs... a donut shop.
You know what I think would do well in Saratoga. Charcuterie restaurant... not the expensive American-ized version. The cheap yet plentiful Europe’s version.

Sadly I’m not rich to start up either venture.

I think I remember having the donut conversation with you last year. I am always looking for awesome donut shops and am so dang surprised Saratoga doesn't have one.

There’s an old abandoned liquor store on the edge of town that I’ve had my eye on. Ample parking. Would make a killing.

Yes the new Cantina was opened, their margaritas sucked so i didn't go back lol. Need to check out the new mexican place and the mercantile
