Head Hunter? Yeah it should be fairly easy to find in OH. Might depend on what part of the state though.

Thats one of my favorite beers.

It's easy to find, but a little difficult to find super fresh. 4 pack bottles.

My God it was frigid at NEBCO today for the Baby Fuzzy Duck can release. Thankfully they opened the doors a half hour early.
48 bucks for a case of 12 oz cans, such a deal nowadays

Thought about shooting up there, but have way too much beer to be buying more.

I was just up there on Saturday, got a few 4-pks of Coriolis which I actually think is better than FBDs. Either way, I'm happy they seem to be increasing their canning, they make really really good beer but short of trying to pound a growler in a 24-hour span it hasn't been super accessible until recently.

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of FBD/BFBD

I'd put most (Ghandi Bot, Coriolis, Supernaut) above it. The hype around it is crazy though.

I like Coriolis a lot too, and hope FBD becomes more accessible like it has. I was down there for a Coriolis release earlier this year, in weather much like today. Dressed a lot warmer this time

Driving down to Baltimore on Saturday, then over to southeast PA, then back up to NYC on Sunday. Taking 95 down on Saturday and then probably back up 78 on Sunday. Any good breweries that I can easily hit on any of those routes/areas? Will have more time on Sunday, then Saturday, but any help or ideas would be appreciated.

If I had to rank their most well-known and widely available IPAs I'd probably go:

    1. Supernaut
    2. Coriolis
    3. G-Bot
    4. DFBD
    5. FBD
    6. Sea Hag (the first IPA I ever really got into; still holds a dear place in my heart).

Absolutely, got it filled Saturday so you should be fine waiting until tomorrow to open. My experience with growlers fills from NEBCO has been freshness for ~2 weeks and even after that you'd probably be alright.

Glad to see the growler survived the trip. It didn't entirely fit into the slot so it was a little stuffed in there with not a ton of protection.

Enjoy man! What's your handle on Untappd? Want to see what you think of them as you get into the box!

the styrofoam by itself is perfectly adequate for protection. I usually add bubble wrap or newspaper for smaller bottles so they don't rattle around in the shipper. But if you were able to get the top of the shipper to fit with the growler then absolutely there would be no problem shipping it....which is what happened here. Well done on sending the growler and a very solid job on your first box!!

Thank you sir! Many thanks for organizing this all.

I was happy to provide a growler, especially considering it was G-Bot, which unfortunately is not canned by NEBCO yet.

The growler itself is from a very small brew lab about 10 minutes from my house called Aspetuck Brew Lab which is starting to pick up in popularity and brews very delicious beer. They're beginning to bottle their best beer but they won't be available until April 8, so we just missed that by two weeks for this box.
