I really like tonight's set quite a bit. But that's being at home watching the tour night to night. Looking at it from the venue perspective though...if you were hoping to see something big or that you hadn't seen in a long time at WPB, you were SOL tonight. Oddly, N1 actually gave you that with Sweet Up & Down and Seek Up. None of the 7 tour debuts were "huge". Granted, its early and a lot of regular stuff still needs to debut. Almost half of each night's set had been played there the year before (And a good handful of others the year before that).

Then again, it appears to be hot as fuck out there and I'm sure that effects judgement, choices and whatnot.

Enjoyed N2 quite bit more than N1. Venue is decent and the sound was good. Overall a fine weekend. Hopefully Creek blows this away though.

Still looking for PITs for n1 and lowers or pits for n2.. someone please help me! I was refreshing these boards and the wh boards for 2 weeks straight every 5 minutes... I leave to go to my sister's surprise 40th for a few hours and someone posts 5 pit tickets... I just couldnt' believe.

Did a little extra work being curious with the WPB stats, cuz there surely were some cool songs played this tour that go left on the table.

JTR hasn't played at WPB since 2002.
You Never Know last played at WPB in 2005.

Here's a pretty big stunner - The Space Between hasn't been played at WPB since 2002. That's crazy!

One thing to look out for. Since 2012, he tends to play a better variety of Everyday songs here than other venues, including some rarely played stuff and stuff that only shows up once a tour or just 2-3 times.

2012 - Everyday, So Right (1 of 3 for the tour), Fool To Think (only 1 of the tour)
2013 - Everyday (1 of 6 for the tour), So Right, The Space Between (full band liberation)
2014 - Everyday (Only 1 played w/o Lovely Ladies after they debuted), So Right, The Space Between
2015 - I Did It (liberation, 1 of 2 for the tour), When the World Ends
2016 - Fool to Think (1 of 3 for the tour), So Right (1 of 6 for the tour)
2018 - The Space Between, So Right
2019 - If I Had it All (Liberation only 1 of the tour), Everyday, Fool to Think (Tour debut, only 1 of the tour)


So if you are chasing So Right or Fool to Think, you should probably get tickets for a 2-nighter at Deer Creek.

Does the Pit in Indy get overflowing? I don't mind standing towards the back....but I've heard Indy's pit is more crowded then others and can be hard to get back in after bathroom/beer stop. any insights?

If you stick to the back third, you should be fine to come and go. I've never had an issue. Deer Creek pit is a piece of cake compared to Alpine.
