Well, I talked to that girl over the weekend and we were supposed to go out tonight. I just cancelled on her though, because I'm that under the weather. This pretty well sucks.

If a girl stops picking up my phonecalls because I had to cancel a date on account of me being sick, she's probably not worth the effort.

She canceled our original 2nd date via text, so I did the same. Probably should have called, but I can hardly speak (I'm honestly really sick).

She said "ok!" and I told her that I'm free on thursday or friday though, and she responded with "i'll let you know"

    Kinda.

Just slow her down some. Every time she wants to plan something with you, stop her. Make yourself busy and create a little distance.

Which for whatever reason though usually has the reverse effect...that she wants to call/talk/do something that much more.

Creating some distance will do some justice for his own well being though.

Yeah, but then just say you're busy and you can't do that all the time.

Either way, when that happens I feel like it is important to actively slow them down because it really isn't something you can be upfront about.

"I don't like you as much as you like me..." does not really sound great any way you put it if you still want to date her.

what's even funnier is when the girl is convinced you like her more than she likes you, or she's convinced herself of it. then she says shit like "i'm not going to move (to Austin, TX) if i had something to stay here for" after like 2.5 months.

it did. if nothing else, it's nice gratification that she actually DID like me more than i liked her (for me, it's usually the other way around).

you should feel good about that. it's nice to not be the "chaser" with every girl, in my opinion.

not that i'm great at advice of any kind, or know anything about your current situation, but a friend once told me the best advice..."do whatever you want."

Alright Ants, let me throw this up to you. What do I do here with this girl?

    A.) Forget her

B.) Don't respond, just see what happens for a day or two, maybe give her a call then

C.) Respond in some kinda manner
After reading your previous posts about this girl, I'm going to suggest option D.

    D) RUN LIKE HELL!!!

Mark my words that this girl is trouble. Of course, you will ignore my advice, continue to date her, discover that she's nuts, and then come back to this thread and ask how I knew. Carry on grasshopper.

Dating is miserable? Geeze, if ya'll think that dating is bad, talk to some long term married couples. It only goes downhill from here folks!

Like it or not this is gonna happen in every relationship. In all honesty, it's the degree of crazy you can deal with that will really determine how long it lasts.

Well, this is true. I'm still going to stick with my gut feeling that this girl is more trouble than the average.

oh, I completely agree. She's the batshit crazy kind especially after some of his last posts.

I think this may be due to the fact that I haven't been in a serious relationship in my life (all just small shit) but for some reason I'm always, not exactly clingy, but I overhype the situation anytime I find out a chick who I kinda like is infatuated with me. Seems strange to me, and I dunno why it happens.
