Copperpot posted a clip from MGM 2007, and people were throwing beach balls that looked like jack-o-lanterns. I wonder if that made Dave add Halloween to the setlist the next night.

Im watching this show right now. Isn't this the show where the band was about break up if it didn't go well?

something also reminded me about anther story. Didn't dave get really pissed at the crew once when the spotlight was really bright on the stage? It was like 1995 and the lights were in his face and it was too bright. Dave said something to the crew like " get this fucking light out of my face. Its like sun."

There is NO WAY some of those songs should ever even be close to being added to the liberation list. That, right there, shows exactly how out of touch Dave is with his fans and his own music.

Rob Gronkowski retirement is the big sports story in Boston right now, sports talk radio show I listen to at work in the morning was going over his best on-air moments.

A fan called in and asked his favorite concert memories growing up and he said “David Matthews in Darien Lake every summer with my boys”

Last response I expected, kinda made my morning

I remember how this forum melted down because they didn't like the way the band announced they were playing Bonnaroo in 2010.

I wish the band would play Bonnaroo next year for the 10 year anniversary. I'd be there in a heartbeat.

I'll be there this year - Roo is a great time regardless of the lineup. they offer so much in terms of non-music activities you can keep yourself pretty busy.

With what I do for a living I see LLC/Inc names all day long. There is someone out there who is a big DMB fan and I want to thank them. Every time I pull up accounts with names like Break Free and One Sweet World I sort of smile.

Who knows... the person may be on here. Anyone who actually likes the band enough to name their companies after them might be around...

haha I honestly didn’t know there were seasons without Steve Carroll’s character. I binge-watched the first five seasons last year but the show kind of jumped the shark after S4, IMO.

Jamming the fuck out to this 5/19/12 Jimi thing before work. One of my favorite Jimi things post like 2004. I really bias beacause I was at this show. It’s probably not anything special tho.

Man, I really question why I hate Jimi Thing so much at shows some times. It’s it because they play it so damn much? Is it because it’s really repetitive the way they jam it now? What’s the deal? I think I take for the granted how great of musicians they really are when they could probably jam jimi thing in their sleep.

You also frequent a site that is constantly against it on a daily basis. I don't disagree that they could SERIOUSLY do something new with it. But overall, I like the song and that it opens up for each member to showcase themselves. Jams were much better years ago sure, but that's probably the case to many for the whole classic catalog. Overdone outros...that's another thing.

Is there anyone that can elaborate on this? I wasn't around during 2007...what were the reasons for the Oz tour getting cancelled and why was the band nearing a breakup?
