For a while the Spidey 3 rumor has been he’d face the Sinister Six. Add in SpideyPool and 2021 could be the best MCU slate to date. The only option I’d be against is Disney+ unless it’s a full SpideyPool show.

In addition to Brightburn, Gunn produced Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame so he could advise on how those films tackled the Guardians of the Galaxy and the cosmic side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel is continuing to explore its cosmic elements with the upcoming Eternals film, which has led fans to speculate that Gunn would lend his talents as a producer.

Gunn is hesitant to discuss his future projects, but when asked if he plans on continuing to produce for Marvel, he indicated he would.

"I'll keep producing stuff. I think at the end of the day, producing something like this [Brightburn], where I really was on set every single day and working with Dave [Yarovesky, director] and working with Elizabeth and trying to make this movie, is a little bit more fulfilling in some ways than what I do with — say Marvel — where I'm giving notes on scripts and helping them out with the character and guiding an overall thing."

If had to choose SPiderpool or Sinister 6, I'm going 6. Not saying they can't do both in the same movie but seems like an overload almost. I know the MCU has demonstrated being able to handle a shit ton of characters in one movie (twice), both of those are big introductions.

I like the idea that DP takes the role of Stan Lee as the consistent cameo.

Sinister 6 could actually be the next big MCU bad. Have Spidey fail on his own, and he gets help from Avengers such as Ant-man, Hulk, Hawkeye, Bucky and Sam. I think they retire War Machine.

On the subject of strange “things”, Harbour also all but confirmed that he will be playing popular Marvel character The Thing in the upcoming Black Widow prequel movie. He referred to his role in the movie as a “thing” and quipped: “I’m glad this thing is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe”.

Keep in mind the writer could also be trying to read between the lines. If he is the Thing, I’d assume he’s just Ben in this film.

Who knows what lies ahead in the final season of Legion, but Hawley casually referencing a recent meeting with Marvel mastermind Kevin Feige should make at least one thing clear: even as he's putting this particular story to rest, and even as he's in varying stages of development on Lucy in the Sky and Fargo season four, Hawley is still thinking about projects set in the superhero space. In 2017 at Comic-Con, Hawley announced he was writing a Doctor Doom movie for Fox; those hopes remain alive, according to Hawley, even after Disney's recent acquisition of Fox and its many Marvel properties, Doom included.

"What was interesting to me originally about the X-Men universe is these are movies that started in a concentration camp," says Hawley, explaining his interest in the superhero genre. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter's Bryn Elise Sandberg at SXSW, Hawley said he met with Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, who asked him of the script, "Are you still working on it?"

"Should I still be working on it?" Hawley replied. But no concrete answer was forthcoming.

Hawley added he's not certain when, or if, the project might move forward. He joked that Feige wouldn't reveal the "thousand-year plan" for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to him.

Hawley said during the panel, as he has before, that he envisions Doctor Doom as a geopolitical thriller more than a standard superhero movie. It begins with Doom putting a dome over Latveria, the fictional European country he rules. He later invites a female journalist to be his voice to the world, meaning its protagonist would be someone without superpowers

I am kind of dumbfounded at how bad and disappointing the second season of The Punisher has been. I'm still not even finished it, it's kind of become a chore to do so. I mean the girl that Frank gets put together with on the run is kinda cute, but the story is suuuuuuuuch a fucking slog. The first season was no worse than like within the top 3 of all the individual MCU/Netflix seasons. This is boring as shit. The whole thing with Russo's psychologist falling for him, oye.
