I was really just hoping to wait until I got paid in a few days on the 15th. Think it might stick around that much longer?

Good to know. Someone on Reddit said they typically run 30 days so I'm thinking between your answer and theirs I'm good to hold out until Thursday.

I wish I had grabbed more of these vault releases now.

Since they already had dates on sale, with tickets in fans hands and money having been exchanged, I can see why they feel the need to TRY to fulfill those dates. DMB has done the same thing. Personally I don't think there's a hope in hell of any of these shows happening in the US in 2021. MAYBE shows will happen in Europe, Australia and some Asian countries.

I feel like if the concert industry cannot conduct business for a 2nd year in a row, then you're going to see it really start to fall apart.

I was thinking more rare after the fact, but that depends on production numbers.

Any thoughts on Get It Back? To me, sounded like something that would have been written during the Lightning Bolt sessions. Not a bad song, but just seems kind of there for the most part. Just doesn’t match (to me anyway) the spirit with which they approached Gigaton.

Heard the whole interview. Great stuff. Wish he played more songs. Didn't know about Eddie's brother. I guess they talked for an hour after the interview. Worth watching/listening to the whole thing.

Also, happy 30 years since their first show.

Funny, I received the email 2 hours ago. Surprised the price was only $18 too. That's pretty cheap for vinyl these days.

Been to two Targets this morning that have said on the app that they have the record in stock. Both places have said when I asked after not finding it that it was supposed to be in a week ago and hasn’t come in. Makes me wonder if the pre-orders selling out screwed up the distribution or something.

I asked the Target worker today and she looked on her Blackberry phone of when they'd be in stock and I saw a date of 12/04 on her phone.

I was able to get a copy today at a Target north of Birmingham. Got a notification they were in stock late last night and was able to schedule a pick up when I ordered. Must’ve just been delayed getting it out. Hopefully more people will be able to find a copy this week.

A lot of them are doing that. I just got a DMB Holiday 2020 Gift Guide e-mail a little while ago.

I’ve got no problems with it, they’re real folks that need to eat. The whole industry has been hammered and the artists themselves are set up a lot better to go an undetermined amount of time with no income

did you mean april of 2022? large gatherings like concerts are not going to be coming back in general until 3Q 2021 at the earliest, and with a more cautious band like PJ, I think 2021 is off the table for the US

They've already announced some summer shows in Europe. My bet would be late summer or fall 2021. If that doesn't happen my bet is the tour gets cancelled, and a similar routed tour gets planned for 2022.

And yes, major events will be back next year. Likely as early as summer. Regardless of where we our with our herd immunity.
