Are you serious? The red line was a success. We seized tons of WMD without having to invade like we did in Iraq. Syria was a massive success. We stopped the government from leveling Benghazi and killing a whole lot of people. We didn't need a massive invasion like in Iraq and we used local troops. What is your alternative to the drone war that wouldn't put our pilots and soldiers at risk?

NEW: Denver Mayor Hancock apologies for flying out of state for Thanksgiving with family while telling Denverites to avoid travel. Hancock says he saw it as a choice between flying there or family flying to Colorado. #9NEWS #COVID19colorado https://t.co/gpr1EMB9r6

The denver mayor doesn't get it. Just a joke. Dems need to be owning this issue and having 4 or 5 fail is inexcusable.

ohh, looks like I missed out on some good book talk from earlier.

Grant from Chernow is an easier read than Hamilton.

Caro's volumes on LBJ were fantastic.

McCullough's bio on Truman is also another great read. Truman is so underrated.

NY22, a congressional district with a population of about 700,00, will be decided by either 12 or 13 votes.

If anybody thinks their vote doesn’t matter idk what the fuck they’re looking at.

Still outrageous that Trump lost the election and today we're talking about him pardoning a foreign asset who pled guilty THREE times and possibly starting a war with Iran. There really does have to be constraints put on an outgoing administration. Clinton pardoned some shitty people on his way out, too, but nothing like this.

I don't expect anyone to do anything. I just want to make sure this place isn't an echo chamber and that I call out bad D behavior when I see it. That way people will trust me more when I call out bad R behavior (which I believe happens at 10x the rate of bad D behavior).

What state gave the R nominee their largest raw vote margin each year?

    1988: Florida
    1992: Texas
    1996: Texas
    2000: Texas
    2004: Texas
    2008: Texas
    2012: Texas
    2016: Texas
    2020: Tennessee

    https://twitter.com/JMilesColeman/st...205673984?s=19

Tennessee is 16th in population. Yikes. The republican party just isn't in touch with median American voter. Sad how far they've fallen. What will they do to try to reach the median voter?

mthawk refuses to concede, folks. Will never admit his stuffing is inferior. We all know my mama makes the better stuffing, many people have told me this. They say “sir, excuse me, sir your family’s apple sausage stuffing is the best ever”. Many people tell me this. mthawk will never admit it, but I’ve heard that he knows it’s true. It’s fine, he knows it. Sad!

This is staggering. That’s a devastating stat for the current Republican party.

No sausage involved in the making of this stuffing. No cornbread, either. Straight white bread, homie.

Being honest, I’m intrigued. I fully love stuffing. Wet and mushy, dry and crumbly, seasoned, sausage, no sausage, cranberries, no cranberries...... i do not think I’ve ever had stuffing that wasn’t the star of the meal. Would love to try your family’s recipe.

My man! It's the best part of the meal, and a wonder it's really only had a couple times a year. The only rule is no mushrooms. Barf.

I run the cs department of a primarily American company so I always get tomorrow off. I make a point of cooking a big meal for my wife and son. This year is turkey, squash, green beans with almond and of course, dressing (I never actually stuff the bird). I might make some rolls too if there is time.

I've already roasted some turkey backs and veg and used that for the stock that is currently simmering away. This will get turned into gravy and be used for the dressing.

I know I am a bit behind, but chalk another one in the Wilson was bad column. He believed in eugenics.

'In 1911, while acting as the governor of New Jersey, he signed a eugenic sexual sterilization bill into legislation (Trent, 1994). Under this legislation, criminals or adults considered to be ‘feeble-minded’ could be forced to undergo sexual sterilization (Trent, 1994; Lombardo, 2002)."

Our stuffing is white bread, butter, eggs, onion, bacon, celery, salt, and pepper. And it's magnificent.

Ummmmmm, "stuffing" or "dressing"? If it isn't stuffed in the bird it isn't stuffing. I am currently making "Nanny's" dressing. It is a recipe from my BFF's dead grandma. Cornbread (homemade), homemade stock, poached chicken from said stock, onion, celery, poultry seasoning, sage, and when in doubt MORE SAGE. Leftovers get put in the waffle iron for dressing waffles.

Sorry for the edits. I blame Espolon.

A few years ago I coined the mantra “being an adult means you can have cake whenever you want” and I’d like to file a petition to amend that to “being an adult means you don’t need a reason to cook stuffing.”

It absolutely should be made more than a few times per year. Even the bags of stuffing mix are delicious. Sauté some diced onions, add some broth, the mix..... mmmmmm. So scrumptious.

Either god damn one you loser. I simply don’t care. They are both awesome.
