Seems like a small venue for US standards. Do these tend to sell out fast?

Back in 2018, it was sad. Empty rows of reserved seats in the back of the venue.

I wouldn't worry about getting tickets. I bought 2 tickets for 100. I gave the other one away (pretty sure the dude was a scalper).

Not a bad seat in the house. It's the nicest venue in the northeast, imo.

That gives me hope, not that empty seats are always a good thing. Iíll need 3 pavilion seats 😬

We're trying to figure out this for 2020. We're definitely going to SPAC and, while we were planning to see BNL at Wolf Trap on the 15th, we might just take our boys to see the boys in Gilford.

Would this be worth planning a trip from Chicago around? I love New England, smaller venue, they've had some good sets the last few years.

I love this venue. Not a bad seat in the place and the lawn is soo chill. I booked a room that the motel across the street from the venue last week. The Misty Harbor Resort. Anyone ever stay there? The lady on the phone said theres a walking path right to the venue(less than a quarter mile)

Best venue I have seen a show at.
Small, clean and no bad seats and no 4 hour traffic line to leave.

I stayed there for the 2018 shows. There is a path that takes you to the venue, so you're able to be back in your room before most people have made it to their cars in the venue parking lot after the show.

I had thought about staying there again, but I decided instead on a place 1.5 miles away, that was over $100/night less.

My Buddy is from the area and he's booking a house on lake Winnie. I think we're gonna fly up from Tampa for the shows! Looking forward to seeing this cool venue.

Don't forget! This venue has camping options, too. I've only done the wooded sites before (the other option is camping next to your car in the camping lot), and it's an absolute blast.

I live in MA and I generally go to Hartford for shows. Last year I went to SPAC and liked it a lot, even though we were on the lawn. But this year I’m considering Gilford over SPAC due to hearing good things about the venue. Is Gilford worth going to over SPAC?

I found it to be o.k. Although my room was right next to the main road, and it was Bike Week, so there were loud motorcycles going by all day.

There actually was an issue in the kitchen. I discovered that there was a leak under the kitchen sink while the water was turned on. The Airbnb owner had maintenance come by and fix it, and gave me $50 off the booking for any inconvenience.

Thank you. I requested tickets for these and the Mansfield show as it's only 2 hours away from this place, so we'll have 3 shows to see on our US trip. Anyone been to this venue? Doesn't seem to have its own thread thus far.

Are you asking about Mansfield? I think itís a very nice venue, but it has a smaller pavilion, so their ďuppersĒ are mostly outdoors. They are actual seats though, which I like. The food is bad, in that itís all crappy standard venue food...everything is fried and/or overcooked, except for the M&Ms and Twix bars. Also, parking is a nightmare. If youíre renting a car, buy premiere parking as well. Itís about an extra $50 now, but worth the quick exit.

No NoVa, grew up in NY. For the last 7 or so years weíve been vacationing at our cousinís house in RI. The last two we headed up north early and hit the Mansfors
2-fer. We heard parking was awful (like JLL bad), bought passes, and got out quickly and cleanly each time.

Iím shooting for both but it really depends on what theyíre playing. If itís 2018/19 all over again, Iíll probably just do 1 night.

Hope to catch DMB here, going to BNL here a few days before the DMB shows. Any tips? Is parking better than Mansfield? Is parking free? Is parking a pain in the ass to get out of after the show? Are seats generally okay? I am in the 3 section in the back. Thanks much.
