We're intrigued by Mexico, but we'd love to try and see more of Europe...

My assumption would be later in the summer as we see more arenas open up to 100%, we will get an announcement from DMB that they will do a winter arena tour that starts in Grand Rapids and Uncasville, carrying on to other venues and closing in Charlottesville.

Madison Square Garden is already at 100% cap this weekend for Foo Fighters. The rest of the arenas nationwide will be 100% any day now, likely before the DMB summer tour even begins.

And this should happen if they really are dropping the new album.

Since all the tickets have essentially been sold for the upcoming tour, it's not necessary to release an album now. That's something you do when announcing a tour, and this is basically the 2020 Tour on delay.

Announce the album in early October, put a 2-week post-Thanksgiving East Coast run onsale, album release in November, maybe even around Black Friday. Then put tickets onsale for a set of Spring 2022 shows in Europe, after D&T in Mexico. Back in time to play New Orleans Jazz Fest.

I'm thinking about making the trip up from Florida. I grew up around lansning and had some friends who went to Michigan State. It's a fun college town. Had lots of drunken memories from there
