This might be nit-picky, but Dave has written like 200+ songs and insists on playing Rye Whiskey, a cover that no one cares about whatsoever. Some things are just never gonna change. So strange.

    I’d guessed 5,000 to 6,500

Nice set. Was surprised we got a dancing nancie and singing from the windows.

I care about it. I actually like that cover.

Also I'm a bit pleased to see this long of a setlist, hoping for something similar tomorrow night in Raleigh.

Agree. Rye whiskey is awful and Dave won’t let it go. He’s obsessed with it. Was hoping it would die in a fire before the fall tour.

Why play Baby Blue, Christmas song, or Some Devil when you can play Rye Whiskey for the millionth time?

There were about 15 of us waiting at the gates after the show. Just before 10PM, Dave came out, signed autographs and took pics for a good 15 min or so. Very cool.

i agree in theory but is it possible Tim (Ryan) likes that cover/whiskey and requested it?

Was fortunate enough to be front row and dead center. Tried to lowkey request #40 without being obnoxious about it. Made eye contact with him a couple times. He smiled and kinda chuckle/shook me off. I’ve seen him get annoyed at requests but his reaction seemed more like a “I see you and appreciate you trying but not gonna happen.”

That’s all to say if any folks get it the next two nights, you’re welcome.

Rye Whiskey is a favorite of JD Vance.

Overall, a fantastic show! RW encore left a bit to be desired, but who I am to complain - it was free. Have been going to that venue for 15+ years, and have always dreamed of seeing Dave there, so it was a bucket list show for me for sure.

I will add that the crowd was MUCH more enthusiastic about Dave than they were about Tim Ryan... If I had to guess, I'd say over half the folks there were there only for the show and will probably not be voting for Tim R lol. See you all in Dayton in a few weeks!

I was standing. In the pit, dead center about 4-5 rows back from the rail.

You were not alone in your request.
