2007 Alpine Thread

I was looking for some advice as to where I should camp this summer near Alpine. Lakeside camping would be ideal. Do any of the surrounding campsites take reservations? To anybody who has ever camped for an Alpine Valley Show, I would appreciate your feedback/advice.

I would head over to the Alpine 2006 thread. There are a lot of people over there that are Alpine veterans. I camped for the first five years I went and I camped at Bong. Nice campground gret facilities. It is a State Park. The rangers are not very nice though.
Last year I stayed in a hotel. Much nicer to wake up in the air conditioning!
Just my opinion though.
