Listening to the Detroit tape I bet it's already better sounding than the Sirius stream, especially if it's in the same ballpark as last Friday's broadcast from Hartford. That was even worse than the worst audience tape...

Nah, I heard an ad an hour ago, its the San Fran show.

Edit. Well damn, now I am confused. It says tune in, but not specifically at 8PM, to DMB radio for a best of DMB radio 2019. Maybe that will play from now until the end of its run but still have the San Fran show tonight.

Found myself listening to this channel less and less over time. Ari is completely clueless on past setlists and his talk ruins these shows. They completely overplayed Cortez the Killer! The ratio should not be 50-50 live and studio! The live stuff is so much better! Finally why must they play numerous songs from the LA special every hour? Very disappointed

Agreed. Thought this summer would be different than last summer. Same shit every day over and over. I can’t stand Cortez anymore. Probably the most over played song on the channel. And Ari is the worst DJ. His commentary ruins every live show they play

Weird thing about the Friday concert series was they kept picking different shows with similar setlists, mostly later on when they weren’t live broadcasts but rather a select show. Imagine that’s due to them holding certain shows back for live trax release but still a bit odd imo

Bit of a long shot here, but does anyone have a rip of Warehouse from Alpine N1 (07.05.19) without the dropouts between approximately the 2:00-2:30 minute mark (during the intro while Buddy is tearing up and down the keyboard). I'm fairly certain the drops were in the stream (not the rip), so you most likely would have had to rip your own copy from one of the airings other than the one posted on DT.org. It's one of my favorite tracks from the whole tour, would be great to have a clean copy. Thanks in advance!

Why is he "the worst" DJ? Because Sirius has him do commentary to protect their product?

The hate on Ari is obnoxious, and literally 99% of the complaints about him from various fanbases are because of audio cut ins that im sure mostly arent his decision.

Dude is awesome and has the world's best job.

I know I'm obviously biased but I still find it difficult to imagine that they can't keep this channel while still being able to have a Billy Joel channel too. The large majority of the channel is all pre-programmed and I can't imagine takes a ton of oversight. I don't think there's a bandwidth issue to have one or two extra channels on-the-air. I'm not saying people are rushing to cancel subscriptions today because DMB Radio went away but why give even one person a reason to cancel when it's avoidable?

This is more than likely the DMB side of things not wanting it to be a year round channel.
