Re: I Know I Know but... Next Live Trax Please

I completely agree with SPAC 2015. Both nights need to be released. A stand alone release would be super special, but I'll take it as a LT especially if that means opening the door back up for 2 night LTs. Alpine 2012 as well. I know these two weekends get talked about a lot around here, but they deserve to keep popping up in case someone important sees!

I haven’t ever been to neither SPAC or Alpine, and I wish to go one day, when all this comes to an end.

In the meantime a 2 night set of those shows you guys mentioned would be the best gift.

Alpine 2008 and Alpine 2015 LTs should have been their whole weekends as well. Both nights of SPAC 2004 would make a wonderful release. Though we recently have had a pair of 2004 shows in the LT series.

Ahh yes, THIS! The Let You Down lib and the Pig encore closer N1 make that weekend so memorable for me! Great shows.

Seriously I have night 2 of alpine 2015 and it’d be a LOT better if night 1 had been released as well. Same for NYC December 2002

N1 Alpine 2015 is really good. It's a shame they stopped doing 2 night LTs after 6 and 9.

The acoustic set that night left a bit to be desired, but hot damn the electric set was fire. That Captain is still one of my favorite performances I've seen from the band. Thankful that AT LEAST the bonus disc hit most of the highlights (Crush set closer shoulda been on there)

I thought the Dancing Nancies was a stand out as well. Boyd plucked the violin like a guitar for the first few minutes of his outro solo, which was something different (and very cool).

Don't give me hope lol this would be amazing!

Such a great weekend. Would love the 2 night release along with bluray.

Also night one I got Fenton's setlist so a release of this weekend would look really nice framed next to my setlist

Its a top 3 DMB weekend for me. Along with my Gorge trip in 12 and Cville 16 for the 25th anniversary. If they released either or both nights I'd be so happy

I think it would've been cool if they did a '01 release and had as a bundle with an Everyday vinyl pressing

    Make that vinyl silver.
When they did the Crash 20th anniversary it wasn’t until the summer LT release.
One of the next two LTs I’m certain will be 2001 even if not #55.

Well, we just got N1 of SPAC 2004 as a gift for next Friday Sirius XM broadcast.

DMB Radio Exclusive Premiere Friday, February 19th
Tune in to DMB Radio on SiriusXM this Friday, February 19th at 8PM ET for an exclusive premiere broadcast of DMB’s performance at Saratoga Springs Performing Arts Center on July 2, 2004.

I am looking forward to listen to that 11” Sugar Will (longest song of the night). A couple of tracks were appearing also on the Come Tomorrow bonus disc.

Been looking through 2001 shows, I would not mind this release with a Special Edition of Everyday with bonus songs and the vinyl treatment.

Hey guys, question for ya, relating to the speculation surrounding any holdup for a live D&F release: Everyone is always saying how much it would cost to get the rights to all the cover songs they play, but how can bands like Umphrey's, who play dozens more covers and release nearly all their shows, afford to release all those covers? Is it really not that pricey? Is UM just willing to pay the cost for the fans? Or is D&F management just really super cheap when it comes to paying out for song rights? This has always confused me...would someone mind clearing it up for me, please? Thanks!

I don't know if its the covers as much as they would have to pay royalties to a good handful of non-DMB musicians, have them sign off on it, etc.

Re: I Know I Know but... Next Live Trax Please

This year marks the 10 year anniversary of the Caravans. It would be cool if they released a box set with one show from each stop, a blu-ray of a show, a vinyl of Atlantic City, and even like a behind the scenes documentary about the whole thing. I know it won't happen but it would be cool.
