It ain't perfect but it's a nice taste of Disney in SoCal for the time being.

That’s awesome! Hopefully they can do more events like this until they can reopen.

Yea, true. But we likely won’t be back within that time frame. Depends when we have kid No. 2 because we’ll be trying after Disney. We shall see!

I mentioned this before, but once Disney goes back to normal, I am going to establish residency in Florida for that annual pass that is less expensive. And then one year, just hammer those parks so much, my girls won't want to come back for 5 years.

Why wouldn't it? If Disney World is open, all of its parks are.

Excited to take little man on M&MRR in July. I think he will love it. I've posted in here before, but I will wait for RotR for the next trip. It ain't going anywhere.

So my wife and I are thinking of taking the kids (2 and 6) to WDW in a couple weeks during our spring break. A friend of ours just said she went, found dirt cheap airfair, tickets to the park and staying at resorts was cheaper...but I'm a total rookie. Played around on Disneys website but I have no idea what I'm doing in terms of what resort to stay at, if we should just do the 1 park a day ticket pass, meal planning, etc...

    any help?

TBH we always use a TA

But I’d probably say a park hopper isn’t currently worth it

Most good Disney travel agents won't charge you for their services and only require a deposit to get you started. Disney seemed like a different kind of beast when I started planning it, especially for the first time, so I put it in some one else's hands.

I used Disney with the Littles (you don't have to have kids to use her services.)

Our TA is awesome, and basically this is the arrangement we have. My wife coordinates with them and they're always finding us deals, cheapest prices and helping us manage payment.

I book all of my trips myself, which is rarely complicated since I generally travel solo.

I actually enjoy doing it. It mellows me out as opposed causing undue stress. But I can micromanage with the best of them.
