Honestly still pissed with the draw against Everton today. Dreadful defensive performance. Take out the Southampton win and United have lost against bottom of the table Sheffield, a draw against a poor Arsenal side, and blowing a 2-0 and 3-2 lead against Everton. Poor, poor, poor.

Hello thread. My brother-in-law has been trying to get me into soccer for years, and it took being the only sport on TV this past summer to finally get me hooked, but I have finally fallen hard. Looking forward to posting here more often!

He's a big Spurs fan and got me and my son hooked so I've been through a roller coaster of a season supporting them. What a fun sport. And freaking perfect schedule for the new work at home lifestyle.

Welcome. And yes, the schedule is fantastic for work from home, especially now as pretty much all the games are televised. Before, when most matches were on Saturday/Sunday, most of them would be at the 10:00 am time slot. Now, everything is stretched out during the day, which does make it nice for mid-week matches as there are multiple matches to watch.

EDIT: Not as frustrating as LFC this year though.

Became a Spurs fan about 5 years ago when I realized their Atlanta club met at the Irish pub down the street. Got tickets thru the club to one of the last games at White Hart Lane. In the last few months signed up for Peacock and cbsonline.com (paramount now?) to be able to watch all/most of the games.

I'm right with you bro, worth it to catch all the matches though! Except I'm a Chelsea fan... Blues are on quite the run since Tuchel took over. Just need Pulisic to find his form and get back in favor... the formation and abundance of attacking options are hurting him at the moment.

Yeah I sort of adopted Chelsea as my second team to watch regularly due to Pulisic but haven't had a chance to see him do much. They are on a tear under Tuchel for sure though.

I've been watching the Premier League regularly for 7 years now, but I still can't identify a favorite club. That's mostly because I'm a Bayern guy through and through. I guess if anything, I've enjoyed watching Spurs the most because my increased interest in the game coincided with the rise of Harry Kane.

I know I tell this story frequently so I sound like a rambling old man in a pub but I love that I got to witness Harry Kanes England debut and first goal in person. The big story in all the papers in the days prior was if Kane would make his debut etc etc. So when they subbed him in all of Wembley erupted, then he scored a goal within 80 seconds of being on the pitch. It was an amazing way to experience my first real football match in person.

I wish my fandom story was better but realistically what happened was my FIFA pro got transferred to Liverpool and I got to know the team and players and really loved the team's history and then Steven Gerrard.
