Nebraska was admitted into the union 138 years ago today as the 37th state.

I don't think moe is from here, I just saw them down in Lincoln last week, didn't hear any mention of it... 311 is from Omaha, though I wouldn't call them a great band, Nick Nolte also graduated from Westside High(same as 311), and a recent famous person Director Alexander Payne(Sideways) is a NE-an,

I seem to remember Nolte being mention in Nebraska lore. I could be wrong though. Malcom X was born here.
