I'm gonna be in line all afternoon for the pit, so I'll gladly take some rain to cool things off!

That storm in 2010 was crazy... some security guard kept telling my wife and my buddy that there as no way they were going to play and that we should just leave to beat the mad rush out of there. What an ass.

I saw DMB both nights in West Palm Beach in 2014, was a great time. West Palm Beach is the best I have ever been to in Florida. Venue and crowd was good - no DC but still a very good time. I want to get back there again sometime, if not for DMB just for personal vacation.

Heard the venue campground doesn't open until Friday morning this year. Can anybody confirm this? It's always been Thursday in the past.

With that being said, we were thinking Sleepybear/Overflow as an alternative. But I'm having a hard time justifying spending $80 per person vs. $85 per car with the venue camping (and having to leave Friday if that's the case).

So, is Sleepybear worth the cost? Feedback appreciated - thanks!

I have a feeling the Jason Aldean concert Thursday night has a lot to do with it. going to be a crazy friday morning turnover.

It was posted earlier that the venue campgrounds open friday morning.

Not sure what Sleepybear charges. Backstage(used to be the overflow) is like $50 per person. Well worth it. Tons of space, you can grill, have a fire, and most importantly lots of shade.

Yeah the venue campground doesn't open until 8am on Friday. I emailed the lady and she said they need the camp lot for Thursday night parking for the country concert

Sleepybear is great because it is directly across the street and can provide shade which will likely be needed. However, for Dave it's always a madhouse there.

I've stayed at Close-By Campground a couple of times and liked it. It's walkable to the venue as there are sidewalks all the way there and they have shuttles to and from. You tend to have some elbow space at Close-By and can also go in some shaded areas here. I know they charge per person so I don't know how cost effective it is.

Nice to see the weather folks call this life-threatening heat.

Isn't it quite a hike however from the backstage overflow for sleepybear?

So stoked for the weekend. Can't make N1, though.

Just looking at some stats...do any of you have songs that you haven't seen since your first show? I am looking at:
    06.29.03 – Angel (4770 days since)
    06.29.03 – Help Myself (4770 days since)
06.29.03 – Kit Kat Jam (4770 days since)

also haven't seen 06.30.03 – Cry Freedom and What You Are (4769 days since) since my second show.

Would love to get a Help Myself, Kit Kat Jam or Cry Freedom again. What You Are is okay. Would be just fine never hearing Angel again.

Only song I haven't seen since my first show is If I Had It All. Up until last year Butterfly and Raven would've been on that list.

Sounds like Deer Creek "The Home of The Stone" needs to keep that trend going this weekend.
