Plenty of good info on here. When I go downtown for Preds games I usually park at Nissan stadium and walk across the river. The pedestrian bridge has a really cool view of downtown and it's probably a 10 minute walk from the parking lot to Ascend. Or there's a ton of places downtown, just depends on how much you want to pay. Saturday will be a shit show in terms of parking but it sounds like you're getting there early so you should be fine. And as long as you pay for wherever you park, you won't get towed.

Honestly I am waaaay past the point of letting setlists, good or bad, dictate my experience or expectations of a show. I know I'm going to have a great time regardless. Especially when it comes to D&T because I see them so much more rarely that I do the full band (only 4 lifetime D&T shows before this weekend vs 60 DMB shows.) There's also a lot of songs that I'm not crazy about full band that I wouldn't mind seeing D&T so, I am psyched for this weekend regardless of what tonight's set looks like. I imagine it'll be pretty similar to the sets we saw for Europe.

It can't do anything to lessen my expectations. I've only seen D&T do a partial caravan set. N1 will be great for me because it's my first full D&T set. It can go up if they play something crazy because that would mean I have a chance of hearing it.

I'm sure there will be a million Ants on Broadway (but even more Luke Bryan people). If you want to avoid some of the Luke Bryan crowd I would go to the Gulch, or Demonbreun St/Division St. Kung Fu Saloon is a new place on Division St that has the large Jenga/ping pong/TVs outside atmosphere. I'm guessing I'll end up going there on Saturday afternoon

Yeah I think people are just planning to kind of play things by ear on Friday night/Saturday. I'm flying solo down from Chicago so I am definitely down for a get together.

Whats a good place to get dropped off each day downtown to start drinking. We will be cabbing it from out by the airport. Probably gonna try and get down there each day around noonish. Kind of a dumb question but just looking for some guidance from the locals. Thanks. Gonna be a great weekend.

Virginia In The Rain damn near EVERY night this summer!

I'd say 1-2 surprises tonight to go along with a couple of the "special/unique" songs we've already seen them play so far through texas/mexico/europe surrounded by many of the standards.

New Orleans Jazz Fest probably won't be anyone's favorite set of the tour.

But, really, like someone said, its Dave & Tim, so its got a different vibe to everything. Hell, their sets can be more sterile than DMBs but yet somehow feel more unpredictable.
