I still miss Roi and think about him every day, but I also feel blessed that I was and still am able to know him through the brilliant music that he shared with us. There's a bit of Roi in all of us now.

    Re: R.I.P. Leroi Moore.

There are DVD`s which have circulated of 4/20/02 Ottawa & 4/21/02 Montreal. Both were GREAT shows!! I was forunate enough to have GOOD seats at both shows. I actually met Bela Fleck, Jeff Coffin, and Futureman after the 4/21/02 show while trying to meet DMB. So, just to clarify...it was not an Official Band released DVD.

Both of the DVD`s have been out for years. Though, apparently the 4/20/02 Ottawa DVD has been redone and has better audio now. That would be super nice to get, for sure.

Another LeRoi song which I was listening to today that was awesome.....5/6/92 (Floodzone) -- ``Recently``. Also, check out 7/31/92 (Trax)``Typical Situation``. Roi is unreal on his sax solos!!!!!!! I think his jam is around 3 mins on ``Typical`` and he`s going nuts on it. Its SWEET!!!

Hey everyone. For some reason, tonight, the whole LeRoi situation is getting to me just as intense as it did that night. I can't stop watching the videos I watched that night and crying. I recently saw the youtube video of Sugar Will from the Gorge with the LeRoi lyrics and I fell in love with it. Here's my question: can anyone upload any versions of Sugar Will post 8.19? I'm eventually going to get them all, but any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

mr moore. you and mr ross on breakfree, the first time they played it in toranto i think. you sound incredible. ur sax solo just is absolute perfection. then when you and ross are going back and fourth, i can tell you taught him very much about not being afraid and take chances on stage

I thought I'd share this quote from Trey about Leroi:

When Phish played Virginia Beach in 1997, LeRoi came on stage and started playing three saxophones at once and set off the most hilarious chain of events. Within minutes, Page was playing four of his keyboards with his hands and feet. I had three guitars on and drumsticks in my hand banging on Fish's drums, and Mike was playing two basses. It was just a phenomenal moment! And I remember LeRoi laughing with his mouth full of saxophones.

We miss you LeRoi and thank you for the joy you brought all of us.

41Step...I agree with this so much. I'm watching his Jimi Thing and WWYS solos from Central Park DVD right now...seems impossible we'll never see or hear him with the band again. He's so much an integral part of virtually every song. I agree with others with Roi on Bartender, LIOG, Say Goodbye and especially Lover Lay Down Solos...nothing more soulful or beautiful...

I was thinking yesterday how blessed I feel to have seen him live with the band so many times (14) and I especially cherish the last two shows on 6/24 and 6/25/08. I was 9 rows from stage left on one of those nights and security was in my face twice for taking pictures. I just wish I could've had more pictures and videos of that night since I only was able to grab a couple. I've seen youtube versions of the band since then without Roi, and it makes me sooo sad to not see him next to Stefan. It just doesn't sound the same either..his style can't be replicated and he could never be replaced in our hearts or musically. I just hope he knew how special he was (and is) to all of us

Today I was listening to Grey Street from 7.7.01, and during Roi's solo I had this really weird experience where I was completely in tune with every note he had played. It was almost as if his spirit was possessing me...

    You, friend, we won't forget.
No matter how much time passes, no matter how many tours & albums pass. It's for certain that we'll always remember you, and we'll always talk about you.

And maybe most importantly, think about great stuff you did and smile and groove along.

You are sorely missed, LeRoi, always.

Hi All....I just saw my friend's poster in memory of the most graceful sax player (especially soprano sax) in the world. It was beautiful and he said he bought it on here so I was wondering if there are more and if anyone knows how I can get one.

    Thanks so much.
